Thursday, October 23
Witchy Market is happening from 5–8pm at Barbarian Brewing in Garden City. It’s a Halloween-themed market featuring local vendors, Joker’s BBQ food truck, and live music by Travelin’ Miles. Some vendors may have goods geared toward mature audiences. It’s free!
Meridian Trunk or Treat is happening from 6–9pm at Meridian City Hall. Explore over 90 decorated trunks from local businesses handing out free candy and treats at this family-friendly community celebration. Tix are free, though a $1 donation per child is encouraged to support the Meridian Food Bank Backpack Program.
Downtown Nampa Trick-or-Treat is happening from 4–7pm in downtown Nampa. Bring the whole family for an evening of trick-or-treating, live performances, a DJ, food trucks, bounce houses, a straw maze, and free train rides.
Friday, October 24 – Saturday, October 25
Halloween at Payette Brewing is happening Friday and Saturday. Friday kicks off at 7pm with a free movie (The Goonies) in the beer garden - byolow chair and blanket. Saturday from 3–6:30pm there's pumpkin bowling and a dog costume contest at 6:30pm, (free to enter with prizes). Open to all ages.
Fright Nights is happening from 7–11pm at the Old Idaho Penitentiary. Experience haunted cell blocks, spooky performances, food trucks, music, and Terror on Cell Block 4 – Idaho’s only haunted cell house! Tix are $30. Friday is all ages; Saturday is 18+.
Saturday, October 25
Treasure Valley Family YMCA Halloween Run is happening from 9am–5pm in downtown Boise. Choose between the Monster Mile or Freaky 5K and run in costume for a chance to win prizes. Open to all ages!
Boozar Market is happening from 10am–3pm at Haunted World in Caldwell. It’s a family-friendly Halloween market with live music and over 75 local vendors. It’s free!
Winstead Park Halloween Parade is happening at 2:30pm at Winstead Park. Join the 6th annual neighborhood costume parade, enjoy cider and cocoa, and snap a photo at the family booth. Friendly leashed dogs welcome!
JUMP-or-Treat is happening from 5–8pm at JUMP. The lawn transforms into an inflatable forest filled with Halloween fun, costumes, treats, and activities from local nonprofits. Bring donation items to support community organizations, though not required to attend. It’s free!
Night of a Thousand Pumpkins is happening from 6–9pm at Eagle City Hall. Enjoy trunk-or-treating, kids’ activities, photo ops, food vendors, a DJ, the Chili Cook-Off (6–8pm), and 1,000 carved pumpkins lighting the night. It’s free but food donations for the Eagle Food Bank encouraged.
Haunted Hannah’s Witches & Wizards Ball is happening from 5pm–2am at Humpin’ Hannah’s. It’s a wicked night of magic, music, and mayhem and there's no cover! Costume contest with $300 cash prize, themed drinks, and live music from The Rocci Johnson Band. 21+.
Saturday, October 25 – Sunday, October 26
Boo at the Zoo is happening from 10am–5pm at Zoo Boise. Enjoy trick-or-treat candy stations, costume contests, face painting, vendors, and Halloween-themed treats for the zoo animals. Tix are regular admission or it’s free for Zoo Boise members.
Saturday, October 25 – Thursday, October 30
Ghost Stories in the Cellar is happening at 7pm each night at Voodoo Cellar in downtown Boise. It’s an intimate evening of cocktails and haunted storytelling beneath the city, featuring 3 specialty drinks, appetizers, and a souvenir. Fun! Tix are $69 or $89 for front row seats. 21+

Shucked is showing at the Morrison Center. This Tony Award–winning musical comedy follows an unlikely hero, a lovable con man, and a corny battle for the heart of Cob County. Tix start at $45.
Holiday Kids Bike Drive is happening from 11am–5pm at Boise Bicycle Project. Donate a kids’ bike to support the 2025 Holiday Kids Bike Giveaway! All the bikes are refurbished and matched to a child’s dream bike drawing. Drop off bikes at BBP (1027 S Lusk St) or at Roundhouse Bike Roundup locations in Eagle, Meridian, Southeast Boise, and Nampa.
Create Your Own Art Trading Cards Workshop is happening from 10am–12pm at the Idaho Botanical Garden. This hands-on creative class explores nature-inspired mixed media art and you get to make your own mini masterpieces to trade or take home. Tix are $35. Open to all ages.

Spooky Spelling Bee is happening at Boise Brewing from 4:30-5:30pm. It’s free to participate, you just buy your beer/food.

The Rocky Horror Drag Show is happening from 8–10pm at The Balcony Club. It’s a drag and burlesque performance of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, complete with props and audience participation. Tix are $20-$275 (for a 7 person booth) and all tix include a themed goodie bag. 21+

Comedian Sheng Wang is doing a set at Revolution Concert House in Garden City. His first Netflix special, "Sweet and Juicy" is streaming now. Tix are $49-$74.
The Secret Show is happening at Liquid Laughs. It’s a comedy variety show featuring comics and drag artists from Boise and beyond. Tix are $20. 21+
The Standup Standoff is happening at The Cowboy Room (at Western Collective) at 7pm. It's a competition between local comedians. Tix are $21 or $25 for couch seating.

Happy & Angry Comedy Show is happening at Liquid Lounge at 8pm. It's a show about finding joy in the chaos, laughing through life’s mess, and embracing the beautiful dumpster fire. Tix are $23. 21+
