Boise gift guide 2025

The season of “what the heck do I get people?” is officially upon us. Luckily the Treasure Valley is packed with cute shops, handmade treasures, edible goodies, and local makers who make gift-giving way more fun and meaningful.

Whether you’re hunting for a perfect stocking stuffer, shopping for someone who already has everything, or trying to keep it all local this year, I made you a big ol’ list of where to do your holiday shopping in Boise.

Gift shops

Sagebrush Collaborative (1609 13th Street, Boise) - A North End gift shop featuring slow, handmade, sustainable goods all from 90+ local and regional makers. Read my story about Sagebrush here.

The Lost & Found (541 S Vista Ave, Boise) - Super cute gift shop on the bench for unique clothing, jewelry, stickers, craft kits, and great lil stocking stuffer items.

Idaho Made (108 N. 6th Street, Boise) - Everything in this store is handmade & locally-made. They have ceramics, macramé, art, jewelry, magnets, cards, glass art & more! Also a good place for ornaments.

Flying M (500 W Idaho Street #100, Boise and 1314 2nd Street S, Nampa) - Quirky gifts, journals, cards, stickers, books, funny socks. Ornaments, too! Btw the Hip Holiday Craft Market is happening at the Nampa Flying M on Sat Dec 6.

Mixed Greens (213 N 9th Street, Boise) - Cute shop with Idaho and other artwork, jewelry, candles, kitchen trinkets, baby gifts, air plants. Great place for little xmas decor, ornaments, cards & cute wrapping paper. Also they will wrap your gifts for you!

Re-POP Gifts (210 N 10th Street, Boise) - The place for everything pop culture! Big Foot, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Star Wars, Strangers Things, and more.

Fluff Hardware (765 W Idaho Street, Boise and 1605 N 13th Street, Boise) - Fluff Hardware is a jewelry company that does metal stamped earrings, bracelets, necklaces & rings. They have two gift shops where you can find their goods plus all kinds of cute gifts like bags, candles, stickers, magnets, and more.

Basque Museum Gift Shop (611 W Grove Street, Boise) - The place to go for everything Basque! Clothing, bags, books, cards, decor, kitchen items, jewelry & more. You may as well take a museum tour while you are there.

Dragonfly (414 W Main Street, Boise) - A gift shop with jewelry, tea towels, aromas, spa items, clothing, funny socks, purses, tarot cards, journals, etc. Cute ornaments too. They also have a lil speakeasy in the back called The Alley Lounge if you get thirsty while shopping.

Hyde and Seek (1521 N 13th Street, Boise) - This place is literally filled to the brim with things. It’s a lil more on the spendy side but there’s soo many things. Tons and tons of xmas decor, home decor, jewelry, trinkets, and my fave stained glass windows. They will gift wrap for you!

Lark + Larder (233 N Orchard Street, Boise) - Explore local goodies! Food items, beer/wine, cocktail mixers, ceramics, jewelry, artwork & more. Also they put together these cute curated gift boxes that make for super easy gifts.

Handmade Idaho (350 N Milwaukee St, Ste 1141, Boise) - A local company with all local and Idaho-themed items inside the Boise Towne Square mall.

Scenic, the Storied Home (1420 W Grove St Suite 2, Boise) - New, custom, and vintage pieces for every area of your home. Super cute store in the Linen District of downtown Boise.

Dwell Home Co (1580 E. State St., Suite 101, Eagle) - All things home decor. This store is so cute and perfect for home gifts!

Taters (801 W Main St, Suite 105, Boise) - If you are looking for a gift that literally says Idaho on it, this is the spot. They have all kinds of Idaho goodies and gift boxes. Great for out of state friends and fam.

Crone’s Cupboard (712 N. Orchard Street, Boise) - If you are shopping for someone who is into the magical and mystic things in life, you'll find the perfect thing at Crones. They also have an amazing tea selection.

Dash + Doyle (4919 W. Emerald Street, Boise) - A new gift shop on the bench with really cute stuff! Bags, candles, jewelry, and more.

Record Exchange (1105 West Idaho Street, Boise) - For music lovers, duh! They have alllll the vinyl, cds, cassettes, music posters, books & merch you could dream of. But they also have a lil gift shop with all kinds of cool finds.

Compass Goods (214 N 9th Street, Boise) - Knickknacks for outdoorsy people. They have awesome packable games like chess, checkers, dominoes, and cribbage. Plus other cool stuff like bandanas, apparel, pins, patches and so much more.

Catalyst Arts Collaborative gift shop (6427 W Ustick Road, Boise) - Catalyst hosts tons of art workshops but they also have an art-forward gift shop!

Eight Five One (928 W Main St Suite 110, Boise) - A local shop with jewelry that is made of tarnish-free gold-fill and hypoallergenic materials, so all the pieces are water-safe and made to be worn every day.

Handmades

Looking for something handmade right here in Boise? Here's a few of my faves:

Clay By Shay - Handmade, locally-made clay pots, vases, earrings, bracelets, necklaces. These are some of my fave earrings! Another gift idea from Shay is her pottery classes at her studio, Clay Collective, where you go in and make your own piece. So fun!

Klei Ceramics - Handmade ceramic pots, lamps (I want one of these so bad), candle holders and more. I love her stuff so much!

Weave Gold - Rings, bracelets, and necklaces oh my. These beautiful pieces are made right here in Boise.

Thread Honey - A local embroiderer who does hoop patterns, custom name banners (cute for kids room/baby gift/office), and also has these adorable embroidery kits so you can diy! Fun gift for the crafty person in your life.

North End Organic Nursery (3777 W. Chinden Blvd, Garden City) - Incredible house plants, little gifts for the garden & plant-inspired gifts. They have xmas trees too.

Edwards Greenhouse (4106 Sand Creek St, Boise) - Great for flower arrangements, houseplants, garden gifts and little accessories. Also this year they created a bunch of little photo nooks with cute backdrops for your family photos. Cute!

Wildflower Floral Co (1519 N 13th Street, Boise) - They do flower delivery subscriptions, so you could send someone new flowers each month/week/season for an entire YEAR. That’s a goood gift idea.

Toys & games

For little kids and big kids:

G. Willikers Toy Merchant (1508 N 13th Street, Boise) - Toys, games, puzzles, science kits, crafts & so much more. They do free gift wrapping!

Fantastic Games (120 N 8th Street, Boise) - Games. All the games you can imagine.

Bricks & Minifigs (10150 Fairview Ave, Boise) - A Lego store where you can buy, trade & sell Legos.

All Weather Adventuring - This is a business run by a local mom, Holly, and she makes these awesome nature-based adventure kits for kids. These are so cute and cool. You can buy seasonal and regional kits. She’s based in Boise, her insta is @allweatheradventuring.

Edibles

Not that kind of edibles! Ok but really these are some of my fave local food and drink items. I like to send them to out-of-state family, use as stocking stuffers, or make a lil gift basket.

Das Alpenhaus Delikatessen (1340 S Vista Ave, Boise) - A German market and deli that has delicious food and a variety of market items and canned/bottled beers and ciders that make for fun gifts.

Hops & Bottles (1420 W Grove Street, Boise) - A bottle shop and tap room, perfect for build-your-own 6 packs. Every year I get my dad a 6 pack of Idaho beers and he loves it!

City Peanut Shop (803 W Bannock St, Boise) - This is truly one of the best and easiest local gifts. City Peanut has alllll kinds of nuts and mixes that make for excellent gifting! They even have gift tins and boxes.

The Basque Market (608 W Grove Street, Boise) - In addition to being a restaurant, The Basque Market has a handful of Spanish wine, cheese, breads and little items for sale.

Hot Eric Honey - A local company that makes raw honey mixed with spices. You mix a spoonful with hot milk or water and viola, you have a yummy drink.

Bruce Ranch Beef - How about getting someone some meat for Christmas? Bruce Ranch Beef offers shares of different beef cuts that are delivered to your home for free!

Hudson Baking Co (291 N Ave E, Kuna) - Has amazing sourdough loaves and super amazing cinnamon rolls. And they deliver!

Nora’s Family Bakery - Nora’s Family Bakery makes all kinds of different banana and zucchini breads and sourdough brownies.

Glutonia (901 N. 27th Street, Ste. 108b, Boise) - A new bakery on 27th specializing in naturally fermented breads. They just opened and it's so good!

Pure Bliss Baking (201 N Orchard Street, Boise)- A Bench bakery with long fermented sourdough breads, loaves, buns, muffins, and so much more.

House of Wine (1008 W. Main Street, Boise) - Bring a bottle to your next holiday party, wrap one up with a side of chocolate, or just bring it to your bestie who could use a drink. Easy peasy.

Coffee beans - Send someone some beans from Boise. You can pick up locally roasted coffee at Push & Pour, Neckar, Dawson Taylor, Form & Function to name a few.

For your pets

Pets need a lil somethin’ to open on Christmas day too! Unless you have cats, then all the boxes are the gift. Anyway, here’s some places to get cute lil toys and treats:

Bark n’ Purr (1036 S Vista Ave, Boise) - A local pet and supply store with tons of cute toys, treats and more!

Molly’s Healthy Pet Food Market ( 817 W Idaho Street, Boise) - Another cute pet store downtown with holiday bandanas, toys, collars, treats and more.

Boise Co-op Pet Store (804 W Fort St, Boise) - Treats, toys and healthy pet food.

Zamzows - Yes it is a lawn and garden store but they also have some really great pet items! Too many locations to list all the addresses, but you can find them here.
