TOMORROW: First Friday is happening in Garden City! And it's gonna be a real circus this time. Surel's Place is teaming up with the Boise Circus Guild to put on a circus throughout the Live-Work-Create District. On the map, look for the little red tents indicating where you might find an aerialist, flow artist, psychic, or stilt walker right near the entrance to an art event. Here's some highlights:

  • Resident Artist Elizabeth Powell from Vermont will have an open studio at Surel's Place demonstrating her printmaking.
  • Shawn Hubbs with sculptural works using found objects assembled in appealing forms in front of Surel's Place
  • An installation by Israeli Artist Rafi Münz in the GreenBox
  • Indigenous Idaho Alliance with Indigenous created skateboards in front of Urban Gallery across from Push & Pour
  • Zion Warne with glass blowing demonstrations. Always hot.
  • More events can be found on the First Friday map!
