What's up friends? This weekend is jam packed with fun things to do and the weather is going to be stellar. All signs point to a super fun weekend! Listen to me talk about some things to do on today's podcast. Have fun out there.

In partnership with Rolling Hills Vineyard

Have you been to Rolling Hills Vineyard?

If not, you need to go asap! It’s an amazing family-owned and operated local vineyard and winery. Rolling Hills is a family business run by Mark & Lori Pasculli and their three kids, who handle all operations, farming, and marketing.

The urban vineyard and winery offers award-winning wine and NA options from their beautiful urban tasting room off Chinden Blvd. They’ve got an amazing patio for sunny days, a lovely tasting room with tons of natural light, what seems like an endless wine list, and delish snacks to pair them with!

Rolling Hills is one of my favorite wineries. It’s the perfect place to grab a drink with a friend, have a date night, or entertain visiting friends and family.

Record Store Day

I wrote a story about Boise's connection to Record Store Day. It's old and some info is out of date but the jist is still relevant.

Sponsored by City of Boise

One thing I love about Boise that we’re a biking, scooter-riding, walking city. Especially when the weather is nice. I personally love to zip around on scooters to get around downtown when I don’t have my bike around - but I have noticed lately that they’re kinda all over the place, and so has the City of Boise. The city's Scoot Over campaign calls on our community to be safe and mindful when using the scooters and be sure to “park kind, with others in mind”.

When scooters are left in the middle of roads or sidewalks, they can easily get in the way and cause challenges to get by, especially those that need ADA access. Also it’s just kind of annoying, ya know?

When you ride a Lime scooter, make sure to leave at least 3 feet between the scooter and the pathways, and use the mandatory parking spaces especially around high traffic areas like BSU and downtown. Also, ride in a bike lane whenever you can!
