Aug 19-28: Western Idaho Fair kicks off on Friday and goes for 10 days. All the usual fair things + concerts. This year is the 125th fair :o
Sat Aug 20: It's Bug Day at the Idaho Botanical Garden! Enjoy hands-on learning experiences, live music, food, drinks, a VW car show and a dancing praying mantis from Colossal Collective! Bug costumes encouraged. It's $8 for garden members, $12 for non members, and goes 10am-3pm.
Sat Aug 20: The annual 32 Cells Art Show is happening at the Old Pen from 6-8pm. See work from local artists inspired by true stories from the Old Idaho Penitentiary’s 101 years of operation. Tix are $10.
Sun Aug 21: The 9th Annual Hop Rod Car Show is happening from 11am-3pm at EDGE Brewing Co. Cars, beer, food, live music, vendors, raffles & more!
Sun Aug 21: Celebrate Indonesian Culture and Heritage Day at Julia Davis Park from 10am-2pm. Explore Indonesian culture, music, food & dance. Bring a chair/blanket & your friends!
Mon Aug 22: Mad Swede Brew Hall (downtown) is starting Indie Movie Mondays, a new Monday night film series featuring all local filmmakers! This week is all comedy short films. It's free!
