Basque fest, book vending machine, new brewery & more

Basque festival this weekend

Fri-Sun July 28-30: The San Inazio Basque Festival is happening this weekend! The annual fest honors Saint Ignatius of Loyola and celebrates Basque culture in Boise.

Festivities kick off on Friday at 4pm and go all day Saturday, through Sunday evening. There will be street dances, live music, food & drinks, and handball & pala competitions, which are traditional Basque sports. You can watch pala and handball at the Fronton (learn more about that here). If you've never been you gotta check it out.
