The disco is back.
Love a good Silent Disco? Love ice skating at Indian Creek Plaza? This Saturday, lace up your skates and turn up the beat for a night of fun at the disco. There's two sessions and two stations to choose from in each. Session 1 goes from 5-7pm with Brooke Would (pop/funk/disco) and VCI Audio Entertainment (rock/country). Session 2 is from 8-10pm with Spellbound (nu disco/hits/groovy house) and Eric Rhodes (throwbacks/mashups). Whether it’s a date, night out with your friends, or a solo side quest, this is your moment to shine.

​The Hallelujah Girls is playing at Boise Contemporary Theatre, with both shows starting at 7:30pm this week. It takes place in SPA-DEE-DAH!, the abandoned church-turned-day-spa where this group of friends gathers every Friday afternoon. After the loss of a dear friend, the women realize time is precious, and if they’re going to change their lives and achieve their dreams, they have to get on it now! Tix are $20.

​Miss Nelson is Missing! is playing at Owyhee High School on Saturday, with two shows at 10am and 2pm. Spitballs flying across the room, paper airplanes sailing every which way. The students of Room 207 are in for a surprise when Miss Nelson goes missing and is replaced by Viola Swamp, a no-nonsense substitute who assigns piles of homework. The students learn lessons of appreciation and respect as they set out to find their beloved Miss Nelson, but will they ever get her back? Tix are $5 for students and $7 for adults.

​Hamilton, presented by Broadway in Boise, is playing at the Morrison Center at 7pm both Tuesday and Wednesday. A revolutionary story of passion, action, ambition, and the dawn of a new era. Tix are $69-249.

​On The Other Hand, We’re Happy is having its premiere at the Boise Contemporary Theatre this Wednesday at 7pm. It’s a funny and hopeful play about being a mom when your name is Dad. This is a pay-what-you-can preview and shows will be continuing through February.

​Wild & Scenic Film Fest is happening at the BSU Special Events Center this Saturday from 6-9pm, with a kid-centered Wild Child Matinee from 2-3pm. This family-friendly event features an hour of youth-centered films designed to inspire curiosity and foster a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors. Hosted by the Idaho Chapter of the Sierra Club, Wild Child is part of the larger Wild & Scenic Film Festival. This program celebrates environmental activism, equity, and the beauty of our planet through storytelling. ​Dreamweaver Film Festival is happening at JUMP from 5-9pm this Saturday! The Dreamweaver Collective is a group of local film enthusiasts, ranging from beginners to professionals, who collaborate to create original films. This free event features short films (15 minutes and under) from amateur and professional filmmakers across Boise, the Treasure Valley, Idaho, and the Mountain West. Over the past year, they’ve tackled every aspect of filmmaking, from writing scripts to editing to production. The films, aligned with this year’s theme of magic, include a mix of genres and stories like true crime, sloppy joes, imaginary friends, musical impulses, and the thing in the dark (whatever that might be???).
