TONIGHT: Dreyfus Art PBR Can Release Party, 5-9pm at Push & Pour in Garden City. Local artist Ashley Dreyfrus won the PBR design contest and tonight is the night we see it in real life. Live tunes from Mckenna Esteb, giveaways, Dreyfus art merch & slow rider sammys.

SATURDAY: Hoptober Freshtival is back at Boise Brewing from 12-8pm. This is Idaho's largest fresh hop beer fest and has over 60 fresh hop and seasonal beers from 30+ local and regional craft breweries. It's free to attend for people 21+. The tasting mug is $3, tokens are $3.5, or you can get a mug + 10 tokens for $35 or mug + 5 tokens for $20.
If you didn't already know, Idaho is one of the top states for hop production. Fresh hops must be used within 24 hours, otherwise they rot. So a fresh hop beer means that it was made using hops that were harvested less than a day before the beer process began. It creates a floral or grassy taste and is less bitter than a "hoppy" beer.
