Peach Days at Cherry Hill Farms

Friday, August 14 – Saturday, August 15

Peak peach season means it’s time to head out to Cherry Hill Farms in Caldwell for a wagon ride out to the orchards and all the fresh-picked peaches you can carry home at $2/lb. Each ticket includes one complimentary peach, plus there’s a full playground area with barrel cart rides, baby farm animals, go carts, slides, and a cherry pit sandbox for the kids.

9am–3pm both days. Tix are $10 for adults, $5 for kids under 12, or $40 for a family of up to six.

• Fortune & Glory: Indiana Jones 45th Anniversary Dinner & a Movie is happening at Idaho Film Society from 5–10pm. It’s a four-course themed dinner inspired by Raiders of the Lost Ark, followed by a screening of the 1981 classic. Tix are $70, or $90 for VIP. 21+.
• Bogus Basin: Granite, Gold & Wildflowers is happening at Bogus Basin (meeting at Frontier Point/Nordic Lodge) from 10am–3pm. It’s a geologic field trip exploring how gold deposits form in granite and what the veins can tell you about where it’s hiding. Tix are $20 for non-members; members and kids are free.
• 32 Cells Art Show XI: Bars and Stripes: Every State, Same Fate is happening at the Old Idaho Penitentiary from 6–10pm. It’s the 11th annual art show featuring original works displayed on prison cell doors, this year profiling residents from every U.S. state and territory, plus a no-host bar and food trucks. Tix are $15. 13+.
• The Film & Darkroom Experience is happening at Lenses & Brushes from 11am–2pm. It’s a hands-on analog photography workshop where you’ll shoot a roll of film on a scavenger-hunt-style prompt, then develop and print your images together in the darkroom, with drinks and light appetizers while your negatives dry. Tix are $75 for general admission, or $150 for a pair.
• SuperHero Fun Run and Health Fair is happening at Jabil Field from 10:30am–1pm. It’s a superhero-themed kids’ fun run paired with a health fair, hosted by the Children’s Museum of Idaho. Tix are $25 per child, and registration closes Thursday, August 13 at 10pm — no race-day sign-ups.
• Caldwell Night Rodeo Kickoff: Boots, Buckles & Brews is happening at Indian Creek Plaza from 6–9pm. It’s a barn dance-style party kicking off Caldwell Night Rodeo Week, with live country music, dancing, and drinks. Tables of eight are $80 to reserve, but general admission is free.
• Guided Nature Program: Wildflowers is happening at Bogus Basin, meeting at the Information Pop Up Tent in the ICCU Base Area from 9–11am. It’s a wildflower walk with Boise National Forest botanist Crista O’Connor, exploring native plant communities and how to identify common blooms. It’s free! • Fossil History of Southwest Idaho is happening at the Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology from 1–2pm. It’s a lecture exploring fossil finds from the Bruneau Woodpile site and vintage gem and mineral collections that reveal how Idaho’s landscapes have changed over time.
