Kick Back at Koenig’s Fall Sunset Series

​Koenig Distillery is kicking off its Fall Sunset Series this Friday! Head out to Koenig Distillery for award-winning whiskey, craft cocktails, local food, live music, and stunning views of the Sunnyslope. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and settle in for a cozy fall evening surrounded by orchards and open Idaho skies.

Fun weekend festivals

Friday, Sept 6 - Sunday, Sept 8

  • ​Art in the Park, Boise’s annual open-air art festival, is happening at Julia Davis Park this weekend. The hours are Friday & Saturday from 10am - 8pm, and Sunday 10am – 5pm. Browse hundreds of artists and vendors from Boise and around the Pacific Northwest. There will also be food, entertainment, kids activities, and more. Find parking and shuttle info here.

Saturday, Sept 7

  • ​Taste of Caldwell Harvest Festival is happening from 5-8pm at Indian Creek Plaza. ​​Enjoy 11 curated food and drink pairings featuring local farm-to-fork chefs, restaurants, and artisans. There is also live music. Tix are $45 online or $55 at the door. 21+
  • ​Caldwell Hops & Crops Festival is happening from 12-4pm at Indian Creek Plaza. It’s a celebration of the fact that 95% of all hops grown in the US come from the Pacific Northwest! On the plaza, you can sample a variety of local beers and ales, meet local hop farmers, and learn more about our local beer industry. You can also take a bus tour from the plaza out to a local hop farm in Canyon County and see the beer making process. Fun! There’s also live music happening all day. It’s free! 21+

Saturday, Sept 7 - Sunday, Sept 8

  • ​Warbird Roundup is happening at Warhawk Air Museum from 8:30am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday, with flights happening from 9am-4pm. This is Idaho’s largest two-day gathering of historic war planes from across the country. You can watch the planes fly, check them out up close, and meet the pilots. The announcers and pilots also educate the crowd about each of the warbirds' history, interesting facts, and importance to our country. In addition to the flights, there will be food trucks, a guest speaker, and you can access the museum and displays. Tix are $30 for single day admission, $28 for veterans, free for kids, and $55 for a full weekend pass.
  • ​Party at the Pen motorcycle show is happening at the Old Idaho Pen on Saturday and Sunday. It's the largest vintage motorcycle show in the Northwest! There's vintage bikes to check out, a "wall of death" live action thrill show, tin type photos, vendors, tattoos, and more. Tix are $20 for a day pass, $75 for VIP or $100 for ultimate VIP. Kids age 12 and under are free.

Sunday, Sept 8

  • ​Indonesian Culture and Heritage Day is happening at Fort Boise Community Center. Join Indo Idaho to learn more about Indonesian culture and enjoy traditional Indonesian dance, music, food, and games. Feel free to bring a dish to share with the community. Starts at 11am.

  • ​Friday Night Market at LA Junk Antiques is happening from 5-7pm. It's at 600 N Latah in Boise. Super cute lil store with lots of treasures.

Saturday, September 7

  • ​Makers Market at The Village at Meridian is happening from 12-6pm. Shop local vendors and more.
  • ​Twisted Flea Market is happening at Casa Bella Home Decor in Garden City. Shop furniture, home decor, clothing, and more. Bring cash. Goes 10am-3pm.
  • ​Boise Farmers Market is happening from 9am-1pm at 1500 Shoreline Drive in Boise. This one is a food-focused market with local farmers, ranchers, and producers, plus a few food trucks. Also fyi no dogs allowed.
  • ​Capital City Public Market is happening from 9:30am-1:30pm on the Grove Plaza in downtown Boise. Art, baked goods, produce, herbs and spices, clothing, jewelry, and more.
  • ​Meridian Main Street Market is happening from 9am-2pm at City Hall Plaza & next to Meridian City Hall. Find fresh produce, artisan goods, crafts, and more.
  • ​Nampa Farmers Market is happening from 9am-1:30pm in Lloyd Square Park in Nampa. Tons of vendors to shop!
  • ​Eagle Saturday Market is going on from 9am-2pm at Eagle City Hall Campus. There’s food and craft vendors, and live music.

Sunday, Sept 8

  • ​Boise Flea is happening from 10am-4pm at Boise State in the East Stadium Lot (in between the stadium and Broadway Ave). Lots of treasures to find! Parking is $5 and admission is free.
  • ​Nampa Flea Market is happening from 8am-5pm at 56 South Happy Valley Road in Nampa. There will be vendors there with all things vintage, handmade, and more!

  • ​Jerry Seinfeld is doing a comedy show at Morrison Center at 7pm. Tix are $67.50-$200 depending on where you sit.
  • ​Chase O’Donnell is doing a comedy show at the Idaho Botanical Garden from 5:30-8:30pm. You can byo food or get charcuterie boxes from the garden and there's beer/wine available for purchase. Also byo low back chair or blanket!

  • ​Adam Carolla is at The Egyptian Theatre for a stand up comedy show. Doors at 6pm, show at 7pm. Tix are $45 and there’s a few left!
  • ​Nate Jackson is at Morrison Center for a stand up show at 7pm. Tix are $44.50-$225.
  • ​Freaky Friday Comedy Show is happening at Watson’s Cafe. It’s a comedy show where five local comedians perform their own sets and then remix each other's work. Doors at 7:30pm and tix are $15-$50. 18+

  • ​Luke Severeid is in Boise for a stand up show at 7pm at Mad Swede Brew Hall. Tix are $20 or $25 for VIP.

  • ​Space Bar is closing :( It's an arcade bar in downtown Boise that has been going for years! Last day will be Sunday, Sept 8. I'm sad about this!!
  • ​Amaru Confections, a super cute bakery on the bench, is closing October 26. Go get some cupcakes while you can!

  • ​First Thursday is happening in downtown Boise tonight. Lots of tastings, sales, classes, live music and more happening. Check out the schedule here.

Friday, Sept 6

  • ​Speed Dating Group Games edition is happening at Cactus Bar. It’s for people age 21-40. People will be put into groups of potential dates as you play a variety of game areas for 20 minutes. At the end of the round just mark yes or no next to each teammate if you want to see them again. If both people mark yes on each other then it's a mutual match & you’ll be emailed their contact info within 72 hours of the event. Games include darts, cornhole, uno, jenga, and more. Starts at 5pm.

Saturday, Sept 7

  • ​Happy 18th Birthday Rediscovered Books! Our local indie bookstore is celebrating 18 years in business and will have in-store giveaways, Blind Dates with a Book, and they are doing a little voter registration event (because they are 18 now lol).
  • There's a few gardening classes happening on Saturday & they are all free! North End Organic Nursery is hosting a Spring Garden Planning class at 11am, a Fall Gardening class at 2pm, and a How to Grow Great Garlic class at 3pm. To register for any North End Organic Nursery classes call 208-389-4769. Also there's a Landscape Design Class at FarWest Landscape Center at 10am. All classes are free!
  • Escape the smoke & go watch a movie! The Egyptian Theatre is showing Babe: Pig in the City at 11am, Nacho Libre at 2pm, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World at 5pm, and 12 Monkeys (1995) at 9pm. All show tix are $10.
  • ​Brews & Views, a collab between Idaho Film Society & Lost Grove Brewing, is a beer drinking short film mini festival. Tix are $20 for each film block and you get 3 beer tokens too. The schedule of film blocks is: comedy films from 2-3pm, drama films from 3-4pm, horror films from 4-5pm, and unhinged films from 5-6pm. You can also see all films for $60. 21+
  • ​Pinball tournament happening at Idaho Pinball Museum at 12pm. It’s a one-day match play format and will be a full day of pinball.
  • ​Battle of the Brawny Babes, a strongwoman competition, is happening at Mad Swede Brewing (on Cole Road) at 10:30am. It's free to watch!

Sunday, Sept 8

  • ​Fall DIY Card Making Class happening at Potter Wines from 2-4pm. You get to make two unique cards. Tix are $10 and beer/wine/cider is purchased separately.
  • ​Swing Dance Workshop is happening at Heritage Social. It’s $35 and partners are encouraged but not required. It goes 3-6:30pm and there’s a food/drink break.
  • ​Cornhole tournament happening at Cactus Bar at 12:30pm. It’s $15 to compete and entry includes 2 drink tickets. 21+
  • ​Wine & Wheels, a vintage car show, is happening at Ste. Chapelle Winery at 11am. It's free for spectators! Goes 9am-1pm.

Monday, Sept 9

  • ​Bombshell Bingo Pride Edition is happening at The Balcony at 7:30pm. There’s also drag performances in between bingo rounds. It’s free! 21+
  • ​Adult Wizard Camp is happening at the Idaho Botanical Garden from 6-8pm. Concoct garden-infused potions and take part in experiments, magical activities, and games while enjoying the beautiful gardens. Tix are $130 for 4 people. Only 16 spots available. 21+

Wednesday, Sept 11

  • ​Boise Goat Yoga is happening at 7pm at Lively Balance Wellness (10400 Meadow Lark Dr, Boise 83704). It’s a yoga class with goats! Tix are $25 and you need to bring your own mat. All abilities welcome.
