Baby dolls gone bad

Thursday, October 31

  • ​Haunted Zombie Toyland is creeping back to the Boise Bench from 6-9pm, brought to you by the Pence-Brown family. Come see 250+ baby dolls & toys in this creepy backyard playland and cemetery on the corner of Columbus & Lemhi. Look for the fire pit and pink Little Free Library and lights. It’s free and all ages are welcome!! Check out an eerie video from last year’s toyland here. Let’s get creepy!!

  • ​Day of the Dead: Silent Disco is taking over Barbarian Brewing from 7-10pm. There will be three spooky stations to get your freak on: Halloween Jams, 90's Hits, and a Club Mix. Plus, there’s a costume contest with some super fun prizes!! Pre-registration is recommended but not required. 21+

Saturday, November 2

  • ​Murder by Design: Where Audiences Kill Dia De Los Muertos style is happening at Watson's Mystery Cafe starting at 7pm. Doors open at 6pm. Get ready to immerse yourself in a uniquely interactive experience where laughter, gasps, and suspense are all part of the fun! Tix are $20-$55.
  • ​Dia de Muertos Celebration is happening at JUMP from 5-8pm. The centerpiece of Día de Muertos is the Altar, which welcomes spirits with offerings that include photographs, food, marigold flowers, drinks, and candles. Altars created by local families and organizations will be on display throughout the lobby and entertainment will be held on the Pioneer Room stage. Pan de Muertos and Mexican cocoa will also be served. It’s free!
  • ​Dia de Los Muertos Community Art Altar is going on at the Poetic Tiger Gallery starting at 10am. You’re welcome to bring a small piece original artwork in honor of loved ones who have passed. In addition, visitors can participate in a gratitude jar, a ceremonial space to leave messages honoring those who have passed on. It’s free!
  • ​Sinfonia de Los Muertos is happening at South Junior High School starting at 7:30pm. There will be music by composers, both dead and alive. Come and experience the fun! It’s free but donations are welcome! This concert will be to die for.

  • ​The 2024 Barrel-Aged Social is happening at Sockeye Grill & Brewing from 1-4pm. This exclusive event is your chance to delve into the unique depth and complexity of Sockeye’s barrel-aging program. There will also be paired appetizers and a commemorative tasting glass. Tix are $30. Cheers to great brews and good times!
  • ​Meltz Boise Birthday Bash is happening from 11am-9pm at the Chow Public Market and Eatery. This event is free to the public and will feature free giveaways, discounts, free cupcakes with purchase of food, live music, and much more! This location also features a Magnolia Beer and Wine Bar along with a giant projector and live sports. Come celebrate the best sandwich in Boise!

  • ​Sunday Brunch is happening at Meriwether Cider Co from 10am-1pm. Bolton Brothers will be serving awesome brunch foods, Phoenix Fire Games will bring a bunch of games to play for free, and, of course, Meriwether will be pouring the good stuff!! If you're not a games person, no worries! You're welcome to just enjoy the food and cider.
  • There’s a Flannel Bleaching Class at 2C Wine Down in Caldwell from 1-3pm. This is a Christmas/winter-themed class that comes with a free flannel, plus all the necessary materials and a complimentary glass of wine! Tix are $70. (Mom, if you’re seeing this… this is right up your alley!!)​​

  • ​Trunk-or-Treat at Combs Car Corral (both Boise and Nampa locations) from 9am-7pm. They will be giving out giant candy bars, plus there’s decorated cars, a costume contest, and a photo booth. Fun for the whole fam!! It’s free.
  • ​Spooky Safari is happening at Zoo Boise tonight from 7-9pm. Don your creature costumes, invite your brood, and celebrate Halloween by seeing Zoo Boise in a new light after dark. Tix are $40. 21+
  • ​Zombie Crawl, Boise’s Halloween Bar Crawl, is happening starting at 7pm. Your Halloween survival kit will include access to 10+ bars and nightclubs, free welcome shots at select venues, and drink specials all night. Tix are $35.
  • ​A Witches & Wizards Wonderland! is happening at Humpin’ Hannah’s starting at 5pm. Everyone in a costume gets a free watermelon shot and there’s over $1000 in cash & prizes for best costumes! DJ Boo-Jwah Zeellah will be playing at 8 and The Rocci Johnson Band is taking the stage at 10pm. It’s free to enter! 21+
  • ​Haunted Heights is happening at The Highlander Rooftop Bar in Hotel Renegade, where chills await from 4pm-midnight. Brace yourself for killer views, a sinister costume contest (kicking off at 9pm!), and hand-crafted cocktails brewed to stir your darkest desires. Will you make it back down... or become part of the legend? Beware, some spirits don’t stay in the glass for long.
  • There’s a Halloween Party at Voodoo Cellar from 9pm-midnight this Thursday! There will be drink specials and a DJ blasting Halloween tunes allll night. Don’t forget to snag your free orange and black beaded necklace. Did I mention there’s no cover? 21+
  • ​The Terror Haunted House is happening in Caldwell from 6-9pm. There will be plenty of spooky actors and jump scares, plus free large candy bars while supplies last. It’s free!

  • Don’t miss the Boise State Football Game against San Diego this weekend starting at 6pm on the Blue Turf. Tix are starting at $87 right now. Didn’t snag a ticket? Gear up your buddies and tackle game day at Taphouse, End Zone, Suds Tavern, The Shed, Bardenay, or Bittercreek Alehouse (just to name a few local faves!) No matter where you watch, it’s game time!
  • ​We Came to Eat, a femme-led rock competition, is happening at the Record Exchange starting at 6:30pm. This limited edition compilation on lipstick-red vinyl features killer femme-led rock from Boise, Seattle, Portland, Missoula, Spokane and Bellingham.   • ​Festival of Homes is kicking off on Friday, November 1 with CBH Homes. Tour 8 fully furnished model homes filled with holiday magic every Friday & Saturday through December 14. Join the festive fun with free food trucks, hot cocoa, family photos, giveaways, and Santa!

  • ​The 73rd Annual Ski Swap is happening at Expo Idaho on Friday from 10am -10pm, Saturday from 10 am-7pm, and Sunday from 10am-3pm. Find everything you need to get out on the mountain this winter! Tix are $5, or free for kids 15 and under. You can also bring two canned food items on Sunday for free admission.

  • ​The Fall Night Market is going on from 5-9pm at the Vista Plaza. It will have the same energy as their popular Mini Flea Markets, but with nighttime vibes. There will be a variety of local vendors set up selling all kinds of vintage clothing and housewares, baked goods, art, tarot readings, handmade jewelry, and so much more! Modern Sounds Vinyl and Music will set the scene with local DJ sets and Here's How Public House will be open and serving drinks. Shop for local gems and dance the night away!
  • Get a Taste of Yoga with The Beauty Boost this Saturday from 12-4pm. You can expect 25 minute back-to-back "tastes" of yoga from various studios, plus wellness experience stations hosted by local businesses. Feel free to ebb and flow in as you wish. There’s no rules!! Tix are $30-35.
  • ​Pints and Push-ups are happening at White Dog Brewing from 10:30am-12pm. Get ready to break a sweat with a high-energy bootcamp workout led by Camp Rhino trainers, followed by some well-deserved pints at the brewery. Whether you're a fitness fanatic or just looking for a good time, this event is perfect for all levels. Don't miss out on the chance to work out, socialize, and enjoy some delicious local beer.   • ​The Race Against Hunger, a whiskey and wheels experience, is hitting the ground racing at the Idaho Foodbank from 5:30-8pm. This is a rare chance to see John Browning’s unique collection of exotic cars while savoring curated whiskey and wine tastings from Hayden Beverage Company, Aiko Brands, and Idaho Wine Merchant, with heavy appetizers from Crave Kitchen inside The Glovebox, a private car enthusiast clubhouse in Meridian.   • ​The Eagle Holiday Bazaar is happening on Saturday from 9am-5pm and Sunday from 10am-3pm. This is one of Idaho’s longest running craft bazaars! Something unique about EHB is that all items being sold are handmade from vendors across Idaho & surrounding states. It’s free!

Sunday, November 3

  • ​Roller Derby International Championships are happening at Idaho Film Society from 12-8pm. The first game is at 3pm, the second game is at 5pm, and finals are at 7pm. Tix are $10 per game or $25 for a day pass.
  • ​Fall in Love at the Dalton Royal from 6-10pm, hosted by Boise Speed Dating. Meet other local singles, make new friends, and maaaaybe even find that special someone. There will be a single mingle, community-building events, and a dance party! Tix are $20.
  • ​Take a free RIDE class at Torque Body Shop in Boise on Sunday morning from 8:15-9am. You’ll learn how to set up the bike for your body, changing resistance on the bike, different types of choreography, and be able to ask any questions you may have. You’ll also get a nice lil Sunday workout in :)
  • ​So you think you can spell? Prove it. There’s an adults-only spelling bee at Boise Brewing starting at 4:30pm. I did this once and my words were hemorrhoid and dorsiflexion. It was so much fun!! Wednesday, November 6

  • Join the Business & Bubbly Networking Event for women in business at the Village Apartments in Meridian from 4-6pm. This isn't your cookie-cutter networking event where someone shoves a business card in your hand and verbal vomits their robotic 30-second pitch. This is a room where genuine, authentic connections are being made because we aren't meant to do life or business alone. Tix are $47. Oh, there’s also bubbly...because if you aren't having fun, you’re not doing it right!
  • The first Boise State Men’s Basketball game is happening in the Extra Mile Arena starting at 7pm. It’s against Oakland and tix are $10-53. Go Broncos!!
