Saturday, October 5
​Hermit Music Fest is happening at Lost Grove Brewing on La Pointe St from 10:30am-10pm. It’s a low-key festival highlighting local, regional, and national bands (mostly folk/country) in a park-like setting. There will be art and local food, beer, and wine. Tix are $30 and kids are free.
Oktoberfests & fall markets
Thursday, October 3
​Socktoberfest Celebration! is happening at Sockeye Alehouse on 36th from 3-9pm. There will be live German-inspired music, limited-release brews (Socktoberfest Lager and Nachtoberfest Lager!), and food. Plus, snag exclusive Socktoberfest glassware with a beer purchase. It’s free!
Friday, October 4
​Oktoberfest is happening at Heritage Social featuring local bands, EpicUnion + The Main Event. These two cover bands will be playing our favorite hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Doors open at 7pm. Tix are $10 and include a free beer. 21+
​Dogtoberfest is happening at Dogtopia on the Greenbelt at 5pm. If you aren’t familiar, the Dogtopia Foundation provides service dogs for veterans, therapy dogs for students, and employment initiatives for adults with autism. This is a family & pet friendly event with local vendors, dog activities, games, food, beer and hard seltzers. It’s free!
Friday, October 4 - Sunday October, 6
The Canyon County Fall Home Show is happening at the Ford Idaho Center from 5-9pm on Friday, 11am-6pm on Saturday, and 11am-4pm on Sunday. Find everything you need for your home under one roof. Tix are $3 for adults and $2 for seniors. Kids are free.
Saturday, October 5
​Idaho Cider Fest is shutting down the block on Bannock from 8th to 9th in Downtown Boise from 12-6pm! You can bring your own cup or buy a festival cup on-site or on pre-sale. It’s a free event but the ciders will cost ya. Tokens are $3 for a 4oz pour of any cider or beer. All ages welcome.
​The Meridian Oktoberfest is happening this Saturday from 10am-9pm in Downtown Meridian. Come dressed in your best Dirndl or Lederhosen and don’t miss the Stein Holding contest at Sunset! Check out the full schedule here.
The Autumn Festival happening at Edwards Greenhouse from 11am-3pm. There will be DIY demos, live music, food trucks, and more. It’s a free event but tix for the demos are $35 online.
There’s a Fall Craft Fair at the Salvation Army in Nampa from 9am-2pm. Shop local artisans, find holiday gifts, and enjoy the fall vibes with your fam. It’s free!

The Harvest Garden Market is happening at Victory Gardens Nursery this weekend! Find the perfect pumpkin, porch decor, apple cider, and sourdough from 10am-4pm both days. It’s free!
Sunday, October 6
The Harvest Fest is happening at Indian Creek Winery in Caldwell from 12-5pm. There will be live music, vendors, food trucks, face painting, grape stomping, and more! Tix are $7 in advance or $10 at the door.

Wepa Cafe is hosting an Offsite Wine Dinner in partnership with Telaya Wine Co. There’s an optional cocktail hour happening from 5-6pm and the wine dinner goes from 6-8pm. It’s a five course Puerto Rican seafood-focused meal paired with specialty Telaya wines. Cocktails and additional wine ordered during the cocktail hour are not included in the tix price. Tix are $95.
​Soil to Soul is happening at Zee’s Rooftop from 6-9pm. The theme for this dinner series is “We Are Where We Eat” and features 13 local, seasonal dishes. It also includes a beverage pairing from Idaho Kombucha and local beer/wine available for purchase. Tix are $111.

It's First Thursday in Downtown Boise! There will be food and beverages, local art, shopping, music, family activities, and entertainment. Events typically run from 5-9pm, but make sure to check individual listings if you're looking for a specific merchant.

Lovely Hollow Farm is hosting Chicken Dinner Road Night from 6-9pm. Huston Vineyards will be pouring wine and Sinatra's Catering is serving a chicken dinner. There will also be live music. Tix are $35 for adults and $20 for kids.
​Jonah Kagen is performing live at The Record Exchange this Friday at 6pm. You may know him from his debut EP "The Roads" and recent single “God Needs The Devil.” It’s free and all ages are welcome!

​Witches on the Water are floating down the Boise River at 12pm. Witches, be at Barber park around 11:30am for set-up. Spectators, witches will be on the water from about 12-3pm. Don’t forget your broomstick!
​See Spot Walk is happening at the Idaho Humane Society from 10am-1pm. It's an annual one-mile dog walk that includes dog contests, sample goodies, and food trucks. Tix are $35 and include a t-shirt, or $75 for a t-shirt AND hoodie. Complete your registration here!
The YMCA Halloween Monster Mile & Freaky 5K is happening at Ann Morrison Park from 10am-2pm. Wear your Halloween costume, neon, or fluorescent clothing and bring your glowsticks. Tix are $30 for the mile and $35 for the 5K. You better run!

The Riverside Hotel is hosting a Harvest Ball with live music by The Jeff Crosby Band. Celebrate the fall season with a night of music, dancing, and whiskey. Room packages include a whiskey tasting and event shot glass. The dance floor will be open from 7:30-10pm. Tix are $35. 21+

The Idaho Renaissance Faire is happening at the Boise Fairgrounds on Saturday from 10am-7pm and Sunday from 10am-5pm. There will be music, jousting, belly dancing, and tons of local vendors. Tix are $10.
Sunday, October 6
The 18th Annual Heritage Homes tour returns on Sunday, October 6 from 11am-3pm. Such a fun opportunity to explore the beauty and architecture of the Historic East End. Tix are $25 in advance for Preservation Idaho members, $30 in advance for non-members, or $35 day-of.
Wednesday, October 9
There’s a Pressed Flower Bar happening at the UnCorked Boise Co-op Wine Bar from 5:30-7:30pm. It includes an 8x10” floating frame, pressed flowers, and all other materials needed to make your own preserved floral frame. Plus, your first glass of wine is free.
