Dennis the Cat Day is happening at the Old Idaho Penitentiary from 12-5pm this Saturday. Celebrate the legacy of Dennis, the beloved black-and-white kitty who roamed the prison grounds from 1952 to 1968 and became the only inmate buried within its walls. There'll be history presentations, a scavenger hunt, games like Pin the Tail on Dennis, food trucks, local pet vendors, a no-host bar, and new Dennis merch. Tix are $12 and if you bring unopened pet food, you can attend the history presentations for free. Donations benefit the Idaho Humane Society and Simply Cats. Don’t hit paws on this one!!

The Public Works Week Expo is happening at Meridian City Hall from 5:15-9pm. The story of two young men, once friends, and the connection that will tie them forever; their love of music and the unimaginable horror of war.
