Things to do in Boise June 13-19, 2024

Published 13 days ago • 8 min read

Hello friends. I'm experimenting with simplifying the newsletter a bit and giving it some more structure. Today's experiment is a slight change to the format. What do you think? It makes it a little weird for multi-day events but idk. There is a poll at the bottom of the newsletter - please let me know what your thoughts!

Another thing I'm changing is making the subject line for all the Thursday letters "Things to do in Boise [date range]" because I think it makes it easier for you to find in your inbox.

Here's today's podcast episode. Have fun out there!

SPONSORED BY BALLET IDAHO

Ballet Idaho is ecstatic to announce its 2024-25 season

From a season opening collaboration with the Boise Phil, Sound in Motion, to the annual (and magical) performances of The Nutcracker, to a dreamy season finale of The Sleeping Beauty, the company will continue its tradition of presenting large scale, dramatic works to live music. Exploring its more intimate side, Ballet Idaho will again present a collection of more contemporary works in Anthology.

Ballet Idaho's 52nd season will be spectacular. Trust me, you'll want to be in the theater.

Earlier this month, the 21st annual i48 Film Competition and Festival took place. The event challenges Idaho filmmakers to create a short film in just 48 hours.
