Some food recommendations

  • I recently went to Chandlers for the first time and it really knocked my socks off. Best steak I've ever had and found my new fave mocktail, Dr Feel Good.
  • If you are like me and always miss the farmer's markets on Saturday, go to a fruit & veg stand! My faves are Reggie's Veggies (Ustick), Old Fashioned Fruit & Veg (Overland & Cloverdale or on Broadway Ave), or 44 Fruit & Veg.
  • I've been in a sandwich mood. Stacked Deli is bomb and has dutch crunch bread, also fyi its pick up/delivery only. Uncle Giuseppe's is amazing & a whole experience. I still love Cobby's too, there is just something special about sticking your arm in the chip hole (iykyk). Also Das Alpenhaus Deli has incredible sandwiches, including a schnitzel bigger than your head.
