  • ​The Green Room is having their ComedySportz Grand Opening Celebration at 7pm this Saturday. It's comedy treated like a sport, not about sports. So there's no fumbling here. The Premiere Show happening on Friday starting at 7pm. Topics for the Friday show include a single unicorn tear, bread and butter, and sleepy boys. Tix are $20 general admission, $15 for early birds (only available online!), and $25 for superfans. Have you ever wanted to experience improv comedy like a black box theater without leaving the Treasure Valley? Look no further!

The coolest weekend in McCall

  • The McCall Winter Carnival is happening in McCall all weekend long and this year’s theme is Carnival in Paradise. Every year, the city of McCall transforms into a winter wonderland with larger-than-life ice sculptures, festive live music, and a packed schedule of events. You can lace up your skates and hit the ice, stroll through streets lined with local vendors, and warm up with some delicious food and drinks from nearby restaurants. Don’t miss the Mardi Gras-style parade, the fireworks over Payette Lake, or the terrain park competition at Brundage Resort. It’s the perfect excuse for a cozy getaway in the mountains, whether you go for just a day or the whole weekend!

Wednesday, February 26

  • ​Top Cookie is happening at the Idaho State Museum from 5:30-7:30pm on Wednesday. You be the judge as local chefs go head-to-head in a baking contest, with Girl Scouts cookies being the main ingredient. Tix are 2 for $100, or 1 for $55.
  • ​Celebrate the Southern Harvest at House of Wine from 6:30-7:30pm. From fresh whites to robust reds, you’ll experience the diversity of five wines from different regions south of the equator. Tix are $45.

  • ​​Field to Fork Festival​ is happening at JUMP from 9am-5pm. Over 80 Idaho-based participants will showcase their products and services, while chef-led classes and interactive panel discussions will dive deeper into the food industry. There will be panels and workshops going on all day. The best part? It’s free!!
  • ​​Hops 'N Homes​ is having their FREE class for first-time homebuyers at Barbarian Brewing at 6pm! Don’t miss your chance to learn all the skills you’ll need to purchase a home. You can register ​here​!
  • ​Bingo4Good is happening at Taproom in Garden City from 4-6pm TONIGHT!! Donations go to support The Animal Retreat, formerly known as Meridian Canine Rescue.

  • There’s an Idaho Steelheads game vs. Wichita Thunder at Idaho Central arena this Friday. Puck drops at 7:10pm. Tix are $28+.

Friday, February 21 - Sunday, February 23

  • ​The Rivals is playing at Boise Little Theatre on Friday & Saturday at 7:30pm, and Sunday at 2pm. Explore the romantic adventures of Lydia Languish, who is determined to marry for love instead of money. Realizing this, the aristocratic Captain Jack Absolute woos her while claiming to be a lowly ensign (basically a low-ranking military position). In the end, Lydia abandons her fortune and agrees to marry Jack. Tix are $20.

Saturday, February 22

  • ​No New Vintage Market is happening in the Linen Building from 10am-4pm on Saturday. Shop local vendors and find new-to-you gems :)
  • ​Under the Freeze Vol. 2 is happening at an undisclosed location from 5-10pm. There will be 5 DJ sets, a massive sound system, lighting, full bar, outdoor heaters, and more! Tix are $25+.
  • There’s a Spring Gardening Class happening at Edward’s Greenhouse from 9am-12:45pm. There will be classes on topics like garden myth busting, growing tropical plants, edible landscapes, and more! Tix are $10.
  • The Super Smash Bros + Mario Kart Tournament is happening at Boise Brewing from 2-4pm in partnership with Rio Giving Games, a charity dedicated to giving games to children experiencing extended hospital stays. It’s free! Bring your friends and compete to win :)

  • ​Not Your Average Family Night is happening at Rediscovered Bookstore from 5:30-7pm. There will be an activity, hot cocoa, cookies, and two $10 gift certificates to purchase something for your date. Tix are $45 for two, and $15 for each additional family member.

Tuesday, February 25 - Wednesday, February 26

  • ​The Tina Turner Musical, presented by Broadway in Boise, is playing at the Morrison Center on Tuesday & Wednesday at 7pm. Her voice was undeniable. Her fire was unstoppable. The inspiring journey of a woman who broke barriers and became the Queen of Rock. Tix are $36-129.

Tuesday, February 25

  • ​From Junk to Gems: The Truth Behind your Consumption Habits is happening in Inspiration Alley (217 S 11th St) from 5:30-7:30pm, in partnership with Idaho for Good and Idaho Youth Ranch.   • ​All That Breathes will be playing at the Egyptian Theatre at 6pm. It’s a special screening to raise money for raptor conservation! Tix are $35.
