Tuesday, December 31
GRATEFUL: New Year’s Eve is happening at Treefort Music Hall starting at 9pm. They’re a Boise-based tribute band paying respect to the Grateful Dead. No set list is the same, and no song is played the same way twice. Doors open at 8pm. Tix are $20-55 (rock/folk/psych)
A Neon New Year's Eve is happening at Knitting Factory with Casio Dreams. The Red Light Challenge starts at 8pm and music goes from 9:30-midnight. Wear glow in the dark clothes and have fun in the photobooth!! Tix are $15. (synth-pop/new wave/classic rock)
The Dalton Royal is having a New Year’s Eve Party with Gary Tackett & Friends + Earl Hughes + Don Henderson + Heath Clark + Too Slim from 8-12pm. Tix are $25. (blues/rock/country)
Hap Happy New Year 2025 is happening at Hap Hap Lounge starting at 8pm. Groove your way into the New Year with the grooviest jilly.fm + Boise Disco Royalty BODIE LEE with drag performances sprinkled in throughout the evening. Raise a champagne toast and count down to 2025 at the disco! Tix are $30. (disco/funk/soul juice)

Barbacoa and Coa de Jima are having a 007 Through the Ages: Night of Espionage & Elegance starting at 9pm. Dress to impress in your finest Bond-inspired attire and get ready to sip on signature Bond cocktails and enjoy delicious bites! There’s no cover but you’ll need to make a reservation. Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just looking for a glamorous night out, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
Tavolàta is having a Toast to 2025, accepting reservations from 4-10pm. This menu highlights the finest seasonal flavors with dishes like Linguini with Dungeness crab or Pappardelle with braised lamb, and parsnip risotto. For dessert, tiramisu with lady fingers, mascarpone, and chocolate sauce. Perfect for welcoming the year ahead in warmth and style. Tix are $95 each.
Hotel Renegade is hosting two fun events to ring in the new year. Baraboo Supper Club will be having a Culinary Countdown with a special prix fixe menu starting at 5pm. You can check out the menu for yourself, but save room for dessert because the vanilla panna cotta with huckleberry & candied lemon sounds insane! It’s $100 per person, or $150 with wine pairings. The party will continue upstairs for Rooftop Revelry from 6pm-1am. Kiss the year goodbye and ring in the new year with amazing rooftop views. Tix are $75 per person and include a champagne toast at midnight. 21+
Join the NYE Party at Thick as Thieves from 9-11pm! There will be shareable snacks and a midnight champagne toast. Tix are $175.
Gatsby Night is happening at El Tejano from 10-12pm. It’s the new Tex-Mex place near Solid & Liquid. Honestly a super fun, up-and-coming spot (they also have a great happy hour). Tix are $25.
The Hop Drop 2025 is happening at Mad Swede Brewing Co from 9pm-1am. A great place in Downtown Boise to escape the cold. Unique Eats will be there serving birria ramen, fried tortellini, veggie wings, and more! It’s free.
Hygge New Year's Eve is happening at Mad Swede Brew Hall in Meridian from 7pm-1am. You might be thinking, “What does Hygge mean?” Well, it’s a concept from the Nordic countries describing a feeling of warmth, comfort, and safety. In other words… wear your PJ’s, enjoy craft beer, and stay for the Swedish meatballs. It’s free.
A Silver in Time is happening at Suite 104 in celebration for New Year’s Eve. It’s the closest bar to the Potato Drop! Reservations are $129 per person.
Dripping in Gold NYE Party is happening at The Balcony Club starting at 8pm. Dress in your best gold outfit, enjoy cocktails, mocktails, and CBD drinks, dance with their DJ, and toast with champagne at midnight. Don't miss out on this golden opportunity to bid farewell to the old year and welcome the new one with a bang! Tix are $15 at the door.
Voodoo Cellar is the perfect venue to celebrate the new year! Cover is $30 and gives you a merch item of your choice, a free jell-o shot, and a complimentary glass of champagne to toast with!
Barbarian Brewing is having a NYE Silent Disco from 7-11pm. They’ll be doing an East Coast New Years toast and ringing in the new year at 10pm for all you early birds and those who want to get rowdy elsewhere afterwards. Tix are $20.
Wednesday, January 1
Check out the New Years Day Fireworks & Torchlight Parade at Bogus Basin, happening sometimes after sunset between 5-7:30pm. The mountain will be open from 9am-10pm. There will also be hot cocoa and cookies. It’s free!!
There’s a New Year’s Day Brunch happening at O’Michaels Pub & Grill from 11am-3pm. Bring your fam and fill up with a hearty breakfast, sure to kickstart your recovery from the festivities of the prior evening :)

Briefcase full of Blues is happening at Watson’s Mystery Cafe & Spirits from 7-9pm. This show will include two special guests, plus a full live jazz band that’s full of soul. Tix are $22-52.
Nate Ford and Yeti Abides are saying farewell to Boise at Mad Swede Brew Hall from 9-10:30pm! This will be their final headlining comedy show before they move on to other places next year. Tix are $20.

Off Season Stories, presented by Storyfort, is happening at Hap Hap Lounge from 5-7pm. Fiction, nonfiction, poetry and everything in between, see your favorite local authors and future favorite local authors all share the same stage. It's free!!
Dragged Under, presented by Jokes on Boise, is happening at Voodoo Cellar starting at 8pm. It’s a drag and stand up comedy show featuring local acts! Tix are $20.

Take an Oyster Shucking class at Telaya Wine Co from 6:30-8:30pm on Sunday, December 29, with the owners of White Rabbit/two 4 the show, Sarah and DK, and their oyster cart. Perfect to take family & friends that are in town visiting! Tix are $55 and include instruction on how to shuck oysters, shucking knife and glove to take home, two glasses of Telaya wine, 8 oysters, and sales on bubbly.
