Shade City Brewfest is happening at the Idaho Botanical Garden in partnership with Lost Grove Brewing from 11am-7pm this Saturday!! There will be tons of breweries serving up cold drinks and live music from Payette + Third Ward + Harpers + Jilly.fm + Hudson Powder Co + The Madcap Laughs. Plus, everyone will be dressed up in their best 70s fits!! Don’t miss out on the photobooth and be sure to try your luck in cornhole and other yard games! Tix are $45. The Repair Café is happening tonight from 4-7pm. The City of Boise and JUMP invite you to bring a personal treasure back to life at Repair Café. Bring in an item in need of repair and they’ll help you diagnose and repair it! The Repair Café will have repair stations for clothing and textiles, small electrical appliances, non-electrical household items, personal electronics, and general glue and adhesive. Suitable items for repair include clothing, linens, shoes, bags, lamps, kitchen appliances, vacuum cleaners, tools, mobile devices, toys, jewelry, ceramics, wood, plastics, books, and more.

Pound Unplugged is happening at JUMP from 6-7pm. The class features high-intensity exercises with restorative movements, rhythmic breathing, and meditation. Tix are $30.

Commuter 101 is happening at Boise Bicycle Project from 6-8pm. The class will begin with a presentation at BBP, talking about Idaho bike laws and safe riding, then apply those skills with an approximately 6-mile bike ride to Barbarian Brewing.
The “Art as Resistance” Opening Night is happening at Sagebrush from 6-8pm on Friday. This is a postcard art exhibit featuring local artists. All submitted artwork will be priced at $20 to keep the show accessible and equitable and will be available for purchase on the day of the show. Admission is free!!

The Trail Running Film Festival is happening at Idaho Film Society. Doors open at 4pm with the show starting at 5pm for the early Friday showing. Doors open at 6pm for the Trail Fridays Social and the show starts at 7:30pm. Doors open at 4pm with the show starting at 5pm for the early Saturday showing. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show starts at 7:30pm for the evening Saturday showing. Tix are $20-25. All are welcome.

Foothills Family Day is happening at Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center (3188 Sunset Peak Rd) in Boise from 10am-1pm. They will be hosting a free birding hike at 10am, a nature hike at 11am, and will be giving tours of the grounds and facility throughout the morning and early afternoon. Plus, they’ll have face painting and hands-on activities for kids! It's free, but be sure to register here beforehand. All ages are welcome.
The Great Homes Tour is happening all over South Meridian this weekend. Pick up your Tour Passport at any of their beautiful home tours and collect stickers along the way!
