Saturday, April 12

  • Eat Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Big Al's in Meridian on Saturday from 10am-12pm! They'll be serving up an Easter-themed buffet, plus you’ll receive $5 in free arcade play! Tix are $18 for adults and $10 for kids (ages 5 & under are free)!!
  • There’s a Spring Egg Hunt happening in Winstead Park starting at 11am. This is a free, family-friendly community event. Keep an eye out for the Easter Bunny and be sure to stop for a photo op!
  • Don’t miss the FREE Community Egg Hunt at Discovery Park (2121 E Lake Hazel Rd) in Meridian from 3-5pm. There will be inflatables, mechanical bulls, games, food trucks and candy. Fun for the whole family this weekend!!

  • The Spring Ethereal Arts Bazaar is happening at the Lounge at the End of the Universe from 1-6pm with tons of local vendors and artists.

Saturday, April 12

  • The Sangha Taiko Japanese Drummers will be at the BSU Special Events Center at 7pm on Saturday with a 2pm matinee. The shows run for an hour and a half. It’s an immersive cultural experience combining music and choreography. Marissa wrote a story about it a couple weeks ago, you can find that here!! Tix are $10 for adults and free for kids 8 and under & BSU students with ID)!!

The Boise Depot is turning 100 years old!

To celebrate, the City of Boise is hosting a variety of free community events April 13-16 to honor the legacy of this important Boise landmark. From art and interactive activities for kids to food trucks, model trains and live music, there is something for everyone at the Boise Depot Centennial community celebration.

Check out on-site exhibits and learn all about the history of the Boise Depot building and railroad transportation by taking a free tour – offered in English and Spanish with ASL interpretation available as well. Parking will be limited so walking, biking and using the free shuttle service operating from Ann Morrison Park during peak times to get to the Depot is encouraged.

  • Wild at Twilight is happening at Zoo Boise from 6-8pm. This is a guided, after-hours tour where you’ll get to observe animal behaviors after dark. Tix are $34 and you can purchase them here!! 21+
  • Parallel After Dark - Music Bingo Night is happening at the Knitting Factory at 7pm. It’s like bingo, but with music instead of numbers. It’s free!! 21+
  • Open Tabs is happening at VisionKit Studio (106 W 33rd St) from 5:30-8pm, hosted by the Boise Ad Fed. This is a shop hop series combining all the best things (snacks, drinks, and a room full of creatives). You’ll also get to check out their studio!
  • Moms Night Out is happening at White Dog Brewing Co from 6-8pm. Enjoy tasty sips & snacks and feel free to rock your favorite 90’s gear! Tix are $30.

Thursday, April 10 - Saturday, April 12

  • Vintage Market Days are happening at Expo Idaho on Thursday from 11am-4pm, Friday from 11am-4pm, and Saturday from 10am-5pm. There will be antiques and handmade, one-of-a-kind finds. Also, there’s food trucks and the first 25 shoppers in line each day get a swag bag filled with coupons, treats & vendor gifts! Tix are $10, or $15 to get in early.

Thursday, April 10 - Sunday, April 13

  • Wicked is playing at the Morrison Center at 7pm on Thursday, 7pm on Friday, 1pm & 7pm on Saturday, and 1pm & 6:30pm on Sunday. Tix prices vary.

Friday, April 11

  • Move for Mobility, a free community 5K, is happening at Payette Brewing at 6pm. Check-in starts at 5:45pm. All paces of runners and walkers are welcome, including adaptive athletes and wheelchair users.
  • Hearts Across the Valley, presented by CBH HOMES, is kicking off at Push & Pour on Latah St from 6-8pm for a Heart Party!! The first heart unveiling will be at 6:15pm.
  • The Faces of Courage Gala is happening at the Boise Centre at 5:30pm. Tix are $150+.
  • Blazing Saddles (1974) is playing at the Egyptian Theatre at 8:30pm. Tix are $10.
  • B2B is happening at Treefort Music Hall starting at 7:30pm and going til late. There will be tons of local artists, vendors, and businesses who have been pioneering a new era in the Boise scene. The best part? It's free! 21+

Friday, April 11 - Sunday, April 13

  • Title Nine is having their grand re-opening in Downtown Boise from 10am-5pm all three days!! They’re a woman-owned apparel and swimwear brand located at 170 N 8th St. Go check it out :)
  • The Little Prince is playing at The Morrison Center on Friday at 7:30pm, Saturday at 2pm, and Sunday at 2pm. Tix are $20.

Saturday, April 12

  • The Road to Yellowpine Harmonica Festival Pre-Party is happening at Heritage Social Club from 12pm-2am. Doors open at 11am. There will be live music from Turtle Poppers + Side Hustle + West of Ustick + Melisa Gerard & Co. + Blaze & Kelly + The Spike Coggins Band + River Twice. Plus, great food, cold drinks, and an auction! Tix are $15 in adv, or $20 at the door. 21+
  • The Bishops’ House is celebrating its 50th anniversary this Saturday from 4-6pm. Learn more about the house and its historic significance to Boise, while also supporting the preservation efforts of the house.
  • Batman Forever (1995) is playing at the Egyptian Theatre at 2pm. Tix are $10.
  • The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996) is playing at the Egyptian Theatre at 5pm. Tix are $10.
  • Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) is playing at the Egyptian Theatre at 5pm. Tix are $10. You can also purchase a day pass for $20!
  • The Boise Farmers Market is happening from 9am-1pm at 1500 W Shoreline Dr!
  • There’s a Brush Calligraphy Workshop on Saturday from 6-8pm at The Lost and Found (514 S Vista Ave) in Boise! You'll receive handouts and a brush marker pen to take home. Whether you're treating yourself or bringing a friend, this is the perfect way to get creative. Tix are $40.
  • A Night At The Museum is happening at the Children’s Museum in Meridian from 5:30-7:30pm. There will be tons of interactive activities for kids. Tix are $15 for adults and $12 for children under 10.
  • The Meridian Main Street Market is happening from 9am-1pm located at 33 East Broadway Avenue.
  • The Spring Warm Up & Swap Meet is happening at Firebird Raceway from 9am-5pm. The automotive swap meet takes place in Firebird's expansive pit area, open to a wide variety of parts, cars, trucks, collectibles, toys, tools and more. Tix are $13 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $5 for children ages 6-15 (5 & under are free). You can secure a vendor space for $35.
  • The Nampa Farmers Market is happening from 9am-1pm located at Lloyd Square Park.

Sunday, April 13

  • A Craft Cocktail and History Walking Tour is happening at The Avery Hotel from 3-5pm. You’ll start off with a drink at the 130-year-old Brunswick Bar, followed by a walk through of the Tiner Building and down the Business Block. Tix are $60.
  • The Boise Flea Market is happening in the Albertsons Stadium parking lot this Sunday from 10am-4pm.
  • ARIA: Opera on The Edge is playing at the Egyptian Theatre from 5-7pm. Tix are $30.

Tuesday, April 15

  • Revive Thrift Flips is happening at JUMP in the SHARE studio on Tuesday from 6-8pm. If you're planning on joining in on the REVIVE Fashion Show, these workshops are a great opportunity to get access to materials and expert guidance, get inspired, and spend time working on your runway pieces. Workshops run every Tuesday leading up to the final show on May 31st.

Wednesday, April 16

  • Close to the Coast is happening at House of Wine from 6:30-7:30pm. You’ll see what influences the ocean has on wines. Plus, it’s the perfect way to celebrate springtime. Loud Hawaiian shirts optional (but encouraged)! Tix are $45.

  • Uproar is happening in The Green Room at 7:30pm. Topics include DNA, fast friends, and musical mischief! Recommended for 13+. Tix are $15 in adv, or $20 at the door.
  • Off the Cuff, a stand-up improv comedy show, is happening at Mad Swede Brew Hall from 7-8:30pm. Tix are $20-45.

Saturday, April 12

  • Nerd Out, an improv comedy show, is happening at Recycled Minds at 8pm. Tix are $16 for adults, and $6 for kids ages 5-12.
  • Luis de Alba will be at The Comedy Lounge at 7pm & 9:15pm for two comedy shows entirely in Spanish. Tix are $35.
  • Femme Fatale - These Ladies Kill happens every second Saturday of the month at Liquid Laughs from 8-10pm! Tix are $20.

  • Make Me Laugh is happening at Maddie’s Wine & Whiskey in Meridian at 7pm. Don’t miss out on a night of jokes, drinks, and laughs!
