And it kicks off TONIGHT, May 2!
SUPERSIZED First Thursdays bring free performances from local artists, activities, and fun activations to downtown Boise. In addition, dozens of downtown businesses are open late, have in-store tastings, host local art exhibits, and so much more.

Fri May 3: First Friday Artisan Market is happening at Agape Coffeehouse in Payette from 3-7pm. Shop local vendors and enjoy live music, coffee drinks and a kids playground.
Sat Apr 27:Boise Farmers Market is happening from 9am-1pm at 1500 Shoreline Drive in Boise. This one is a food-focused market. Also fyi no dogs allowed.
Sat Apr 27:Capital City Public Market is happening from 9:30am-1:30pm on the Grove Plaza in downtown Boise. Art, baked goods, produce, herbs and spices, clothing, jewelry, and more.
Sat Apr 27:Meridian Main Street Market is happening from 9am-2pm at City Hall Plaza & next to Meridian City Hall. Find fresh produce, artisan goods, crafts, and more.
Sat Apr 27: Nampa Farmers Market is having its grand opening from 9am-1:30pm in Lloyd Square Park in Nampa. Tons of vendors to shop!
Sat May 4:Eagle Saturday Market kicks off this weekend! It’s from 9am-2pm at Eagle City Hall Campus. There’s food and craft vendors, and live music.
Sat May 4:The Children’s Entrepreneur Market is happening from 8:30am-2pm at Bear Creek Park (2400 S Stoddard Rd) in Meridian. Shop businesses that are all run by local kids!
Sat May 4:The Makers Market is happening at The Village at Meridian from 12-6pm.
Sun Apr 28:36th Street Sunday Market is happening at Sockeye Alehouse. There's an eclectic mix of items from spices, artwork/crafts, fresh produce, and more. Goes 10am-2pm, and brunch is served in the Alehouse next door!

Sat May 4: Idaho Film Society is screening Star Wars: A New Hope at 1pm, the Unaltered Theatrical Version, at 1pm. It's free! This one is my fave - I love young Luke Skywalker lol.
Sat May 4: Gem State Brewing is having a Star Wars Day Celebration starting at 12pm. There will be Star Wars themed beers, an appearance by R2-D2, photo opportunities, and BBQ.
Sat May 4:Re-POP Gifts is hosting a May the Fourth event from 10am-7pm with character photo-ops. Also if you come in your favorite Star Wars costume you get 10% off your entire purchase, and if you spend $50 or more you get a reusable Re-POP tote bag, a FREE Star Wars tea towel and a Star Wars pin-back button.

Sat May 4: Mad Swede Brew Hall is hosting Scum & Villainy, a live Star Wars Roleplaying Game from 8-10pm. Tix are $20 and are going fast.
Sat May 4: There’s a Star Wars Improv Comedy Show at Recycled Minds Comedy in Garden City. Tix are $15 online, $20 at the door or $5 for kids age 5-12. Starts at 8pm.

Fri May 3 - Sun May 5: It’s Cinco De Maddie’s at Maddie’s Wine and Whiskey bar in Meridian from 11am-8pm each day. There will be live music and food & drink specials. The event is 21+.
Sat May 4: Garibaldis in Garden City is having a Cinco De Mayo Block Party starting at 5pm. There will be drink and taco specials going on during this event & multiple DJ’s performing throughout the night.
Sat May 4:Huston Vineyards is doing a Cinco De Vino Rose Release. Enjoy their 2023 vintage and a taco meal and salsa bar by Swine Thyme Catering, plus live music and a special performance by Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo.
Sat-Sun May 4-5: Payette Brewing is celebrating Cinco De Mayo from 11am-10pm as they bring you flavorful, fun and refreshing cervezas & margs all cinco long. There will be specialty drinks and food trucks.
Sun May 5: Hops & Bottles is throwing a Salsa Fest. Come show off your best salsa recipe! The competition starts promptly at 2pm. There will be prizes, free tacos, specialty drinks, and more.
