Fri-Sun June 24-26: World Village Fest is happening in Cecil D. Andrus Park (in front of the capitol). It's a multi-cultural festival with music, dance, art, food & drinks from cultures around the world. Check out my story on it here. It's free!
Sat June 25: Boise Corgi Fest is in Molenaar Park (on Maple Grove & Victory) from 9:30am-2pm. There's a full day of activities for your corgi, including a mini parade, costume contest, corgi derby (lol), & bobbing for hot dogs. It's free to attend & fam-friendly. If anyone goes to this pleaseee send me photos.
Sat June 25: Boise Music Festival is at Expo Idaho from 10am-10pm. Dozens of artists on 6 stages. Food court with 40+ vendors, beer & wine vendors. Carnival rides, vendor village, kids play area & more. Tix are $30-$150, all ages welcome & kids under 12 are free.
Sat June 25: Midsommar Day Celebration at Mad Swede from 3-10pm. Enjoy traditional Swedish and vaguely Swede-ish activities, including a Norse-inspired craft fair, Swedish car show, lawn games and Caber Toss, a Maypole, delicious food by Vafler in Boise and Handful of Heifer, and tunes from local pub-punk band the Uptown Chiefs. It's freeee!
Sat June 25: San Juan Eguna Basque Festival is happening at Txoko Ona in Homedale, ID from 4-11pm. When the sun goes down in the Basque Country on San Juan Eguna, the feast day of St. John the Baptist, bonfires are lit to celebrate the Basque Summer Solstice and a night of festivities begin. Enjoy a night of live music, dancing, Basque food, and of course... a bonfire!
Sat June 25: Lavender Festival is at Bohemian Bloom & Herb Farm from 10:30am-4pm. Tix are $5, kids under 12 free. Cut your own bundle of lavender, shop local vendors & enjoy a day on the farm.
Sat June 25: Border Town Lavender Tour brings you to FIVE different lavender farms on the border of Idaho and Oregon. Visit Burlap n Buds in Weiser, Lavender Gardens of Payette in Payette, Buds Blossoms and Bouquets in Ontario, Sage Hill Farm in Ontario and WM Knight Lavender, Flowers & Herbs in New Plymouth. Admission & parking are free!
Sun June 26: The 28th Family Reunion Volkswagen Show is happening at Kleiner Park in Meridian. Check out VW's of all kinds & vote on your faves. 10am-3pm. It's free!

Some outdoor summer concert series kick off this week. Great Garden Escape, an outdoor concert series at Idaho Botanical Garden, kicks off tonight with Boise's Basque band Amuma Says No. Show starts at 5pm and tix are $14-$20. All ages. Thursday Thunder returns to Boise Spectrum tonight. It kicks off tonight with Pilot Error and it's free!
On Saturday, Music on the Mountain, the summer concert series at Bogus Basin, starts back up. Three bands playing from 2-6pm. Byo blanket/chair, snacks & drinks.
Also on Sat June 25, Broadway in the Park, a free Pride month concert, is happening at Gene Harris Band Shell in Julia Davis Park at 7pm.
And next week on Wednesday, Aldous Harding is playing at Idaho Botanical Garden. She's an amazing folk artist from New Zealand. Gonna be a really good one! A lil preview for you below.
