    Bogus Basin Mountain Report

    It’s ​ICCU Member Week at Bogus Basin​! All ICCU credit/debit card holders can redeem 50% off summer activities and free scenic chairlift rides through Sunday, July 12th!

    The first (free!) ​Music on the Mountain summer concert​ happens this Saturday with JDHIX, Ashley Rose, and touring headliner Orquesta Akokán! Bring your blanket, grab lunch & a beverage, and enjoy the tunes in the cooler mountain air from 2-6 pm 🥁☀️

    It’s going to be a beautiful weekend on the mountain ​full of free events​ including yoga, scenic tours, and Music on the Patio – see the entire ​events calendar​, and start planning your mountain adventure 🐦

    Claremont Fire Update: Bogus Basin operations are not affected by the Claremont Fire at this time. Updates can be found on the ​Bogus Basin website​ and ​social media​. Thank you, firefighters and first responders, for working hard to contain the fire and keep our communities safe! 💙

    Rosé Fest at Parcero

    Saturday, July 11

    Your excuse to taste 27 rosés from around the world in one afternoon. Parcero’s annual Rosé Fest is an open-house style tasting, so go at your own pace, find your new favorite bottle, and take it home at event pricing. A curated food menu from the Parcero kitchen plus a food truck on-site means you won’t be sipping on an empty stomach. Every ticket includes a commemorative glass to take home. This one is co-hosted with From Boise!

    VIP entry (1pm) is $85. General admission (2–8pm) is $49, or $39 for Parcero Wine Club members. 21+.

    Friday, July 10

    • ​JAWS​ is happening at Idaho Film Society from 7–9pm. It’s the classic Spielberg thriller about a small beach town terrorized by a great white shark. Tix are $10.
    • ​Sparklight Movie Night: Hoppers​ is happening at Settlers Park in Meridian from 7–11pm. Meridian Parks and Recreation is screening the new Disney/Pixar film Hoppers under the stars. It’s free!
    • ​Movies Under the Stars: GOAT​ is happening at Julia Davis Park at dusk (around 9pm). Boise Parks and Recreation is screening GOAT at the Gene Harris Bandshell. Bring a blanket and a picnic. It’s free!

    Saturday, July 11

    • ​Boise Twilight Criterium​ is happening in downtown Boise from 11am–9pm. It’s 39 years of the fastest crit racing in the country, with pro men’s and women’s races, a Kids’ Ride, food trucks, vendors, and a fan expo. It’s free!
    • ​Deep Blue Sea​ is happening at Idaho Film Society from 7–9pm. Scientists genetically engineer smarter sharks to cure Alzheimer’s and things go very wrong. Tix are $10. 21+
    • ​AC Boise vs. Sacramento Republic FC​ is happening at Athletic Club Boise Soccer Stadium at 7:30pm. It’s a USL Cup home match. Tix start at $35.
    • ​Paranormal Investigation​ is happening at Old Idaho Penitentiary from 9:15pm–2am. Join Big River Paranormal as they use their equipment to attempt to connect with the prisoners and guards of the past. Tix are $45. 13+
    • ​Running of the Bars​ is happening on the Basque Block in downtown Boise on Saturday, July 11 from 5–10pm. It’s a San Fermin-inspired pub crawl through bars like the Basque Center, Leku Ona, Tom Grainey’s, Cactus, Pengilly’s, and Silly Birch. Wear your whites with red belts and scarves, tackle a fun activity at each stop, and finish the night back on the Block dancing with Kalimotxo Cowboys. It’s a fundraiser for the Basque Museum & Cultural Center. Tix are $30 at the door. 21+
    • ​DarknessCon Boise​ is happening at Expo Idaho. It’s the 6th annual celebration of all things horror, haunts, and pop culture. Expect a full day of vendors, artists, immersive workshops, panels, a film festival, and hands-on make & takes. There’s also a Zombie Prom from 9pm–midnight with DJ Andrew Pearson spinning darkwave and industrial all night. Tix are $15 (Adult Day Pass) or $25 (All-Day Pass including Zombie Prom). Kids 5 and under are free; ages 6–11 are $5. Zombie Prom is 18+.

    Sunday, July 12

    • ​Mineral Identification​ is happening at Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology from 1–2pm. Bring in your rocks, minerals, fossils, or Native American artifacts and a professional geologist will help you identify them. Tix are $5.
    • ​The Boise Flea: July Flea​ is happening at Boise State East Stadium Lot from 10am–4pm. It’s Boise’s favorite outdoor flea market with tons of vendors and deals. It’s free!
    • ​Anaconda​ is happening at Idaho Film Society from 7–9pm. A National Geographic film crew gets taken hostage by an unhinged hunter on a mission to capture the world’s deadliest snake. Tix are $10. 21+

    Monday, July 13

    • ​Hummingbird Banding at Bogus Basin​ is happening at the Frontier Point Lodge at Bogus Basin on July 13 from 7–11am. Join the Intermountain Bird Observatory as their trained biologists band, measure, and release wild hummingbirds. If you’re lucky, you might get to hold one for release! Drop in any time, but arrive before 9am for the most action. It’s free!

    Tuesday, July 14

    • ​DT Plays in Boise​ is happening at Oppenheimer Green Space from 10am–1pm. It’s a free yard game pop-up with cornhole, giant Jenga, hula hoops, and a Storytime with Rediscovered Books. Plus free chiropractic adjustments from Dr. Lauren Fairchild of BoDo Chiropractic from noon–1pm. It’s free!
    • ​Learn to Skate​ is happening at Mountain View Park from 6–8pm. It’s a free skate session with group skateboard and roller skate lessons, demo boards provided. All ages and skill levels welcome. It’s free!
    • ​Boise Hawks vs. RedPocket Mobiles​ is happening at Memorial Stadium at 7:05pm. It’s $5 Tuesday. Tix start at $5.

    Wednesday, July 15

    • ​Hops ‘N Homes​ is happening at Barbarian Brewing Downtown Beer Bar from 6–7:30pm. It’s a fun, interactive session with real estate pros who walk you through the entire home-buying process. It’s free!
    • ​Boise Hawks vs. RedPocket Mobiles​ is happening at Memorial Stadium at 7:05pm. It’s Bark in the Park and Hometown Heroes night. Bring your pup and cheer on some local legends. Tix start at $9.
    • ​Trivia with Geeks Who Drink​ is happening at Boise Brewing from 7–9pm. It’s weekly trivia night hosted by Geeks Who Drink. Win free beer every round. It’s free!

    • ​Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson – Apt. 2B​ is happening at Idaho Shakespeare Festival at 8pm. It’s a wild, modern reimagining of Sherlock Holmes with quirky roommates-turned-crime-fighters navigating mysteries, mayhem, and a little pandemic fog. Tix start at $29.68.

    • ​Charlie Mac​ is at The Comedy Lounge at 7pm. The Austin-based comedian earned his Kill Tony Golden Ticket in 2025 and has co-signs from Eddie Griffin, Rob Schneider, and Donnell Rawlings — don’t sleep on this one. Tix are $25.

    • ​Adam Tiller at Liquid Laughs Underground​ is happening at Liquid Laughs Underground at 7:30pm. Seattle comedian Adam Tiller headlines with feature comic Baurice Nelson — a Boise favorite with a sharp, polished style. Tix are $15. 21+

    Friday, July 10 – Saturday, July 11

    • ​Comedian LJ Sullivan​ is at Western Collective in Garden City at 7pm. Local legend and Cause We Can Comedy favorite LJ Sullivan headlines for one exclusive weekend of stand-up — grab a drink and settle in. Tix are available online.

    Friday, July 10 – Sunday, July 12

    • ​Tons of Money​ is happening at Stagecoach Theatre at 7:30pm (Sunday matinee at 2pm). It’s a zany British farce about a broke inventor who fakes his own death to dodge his debts — and then things get very complicated. Tix start at $25.

    • ​JJ Alexander​ is at Liquid Laughs Underground at 7:30pm (late show at 9:45pm). The Kill Tony Golden Ticket winner brings his goofy, self-deprecating style to a very intimate room — tickets are limited. Tix are $25. 21+

    • ​Jay Light​ is happening at The Comedy Lounge at 7pm. The LA-based comic has appeared on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle and NBC’s America’s Got Talent, with a #1 comedy album and a new YouTube special out now. Tix are $25.
    • ​Nerd Out Improv Comedy Show​ is happening at The Creative Space in Garden City at 8pm. Improvisers take audience members’ nerdiest memories — Star Wars, sci-fi, childhood toys — and spin them into spontaneous, hilarious long-form scenes. Tix are $16.
    • ​Femme Fatale Comedy Show​ is happening at Liquid Laughs Underground from 8–10pm. The valley’s funniest fems and thems take the stage for this monthly feminist comedy show hosted by Krystal Moore — it always sells out, so grab your tix early. Tix are $23.
    • ​ComedySportz​ is happening at The Green Room at 7:30pm. Two teams of improv comedians go head-to-head in a fast-paced comedy competition — the audience scores the points and picks the winner. Tix are $24.57.

    Sunday, July 12

    • ​Campfire Stories: Independence / Freedom​ is happening at the Modern Courtyard from 7–9pm. Boise’s beloved intimate storytelling series returns for its 12th season with Joel Wayne, Jodeen Revere, and Tomás Baiza sharing stories on the theme of Independence and Freedom. It’s free!

    Monday, July 13

    • ​Story Story Night​ is happening at the Old Idaho Penitentiary on Monday, July 13; doors at 7pm and show at 8pm. It’s Boise’s beloved live storytelling series, and this edition’s theme is Road Trip. Three storytellers sharing real, personal tales of heartbreak, lost keys, and lessons learned on the Camino. Bring a blanket or low-back chair. Tix are $23. 18+.

    Tuesday, July 14

    • ​Sometime This Century: A Time Travellers Ball​ is happening at Oldspeak in Garden City at 7pm. It’s a festive evening celebrating the release of local author Samantha Silva’s new Regency-era time travel novel with dancing, drinks, hors d’oeuvres, a reading by the author, and costumes from any era strongly encouraged. This one sold out last time, so don’t wait. Tix are $33.85.

    Wednesday, July 15

    • ​Idaho Screendance Festival​ is happening at The Flicks from 4:15–11:30pm. The Idaho Dance Education Organization presents a festival showcasing local and international dance films — a one-of-a-kind exploration of dance and filmmaking. It’s free!
