    Shade City Brewfest

    Saturday, April 25

    • ​Shade City Brewfest​ is back at the Idaho Botanical Garden from 1–6pm. This is such a fun event! It’s an annual 70s-themed beer festival featuring local and regional breweries, live music, food trucks, and lawn games. Dress up in your finest 70s attire, bring your own cup (no glass tho), and plan to arrive by bike, bus, or carpool if you can. Tix are $45, VIP $95 – prices go up at the door. Also it’s 21+ and no pets or chairs allowed.

    • ​Naomi’s Curated Collection pop up​ is happening at 4500 W Overland Rd in Boise from 10am–6pm each day. It’s a pre-loved women’s clothing pop-up featuring sundresses, linen, jewelry, and more in sizes XS–4X, with 95% of pieces under $25. It’s awesome I went yesterday and got 2 purses and a pair of denim shorts!

    Thursday, April 23

    • ​Earth Day Family Night Out​ is happening at Zoo Boise from 6–8pm. It’s an after-hours celebration featuring guided tours, interactive activity stations, eco-friendly crafts, and more. Tix are $8.
    • ​Repair Café​ is happening at JUMP from 4pm-7pm. Bring in a personal treasure that is broken and volunteers will help back to life. Fun!
    • ​Fremont – Presented by Agency for New Americans​ is happening at The Flicks from 7pm. It’s a special screening of Fremont, a film that follows a former translator for the United States military in Afghanistan. There will also be a Q&A with Anna Lloyd, Executive Director and Afghan Allies Advocate from Task Force Argo. Tix are $15.

    Friday, April 24

    • ​Celebrate Arbor Day 2026​ at the Idaho State Museum starting at 10am. It’s a community celebration of trees featuring free seedlings, refreshments, informational booths, presentations, and a ceremonial tree planting in Julia Davis Park.
    • ​Spring Porch Pot Make & Take Workshop​ is happening at FarWest Landscape & Garden Center at 1pm. It’s a hands-on workshop where you’ll design a custom seasonal container to take home. All materials included, no experience needed. Tix are $60.
    • ​Trinket Trade​ is happening at JUMP from 5pm-8pm. It’s a fun community swap with tiny treasure trading, trinket customization, doodle booths, and treasure hunts. It’s free and cute!

    Saturday, April 25

    • ​World Penguin Day​ is happening at Zoo Boise from 10am–2pm. It’s a celebration of Zoo Boise’s Magellanic penguin colony. There will be penguin-inspired crafts, a discovery station, and staff Q&A. All activities are included with zoo admission.
    • ​REVIVE Fashion Show​ is happening at JUMP at 1pm. It’s an annual sustainable fashion show featuring wearable art made from thrifted and recycled items. It’s free!
    • ​Fleet Feet’s Trail Running Film Fest​ is happening at the Idaho Film Society at 5pm (doors at 4pm). It’s a special screening of the 2026 Trail Running Film Festival, celebrating trail running stories and community on the big screen. Tix are $16. 21+

    Saturday, April 25 – Sunday, April 26

    • ​Hanson Estate Sale​ is happening from 9am–2pm, both days. It’s a mid-century home filled with antiques, vintage toys, collectibles, furniture, yard art, and much more. Address posted on the Facebook page on Saturday.
    • ​Huge Estate Sale​ is happening in Caldwell from 8am–11pm. It’s a massive estate sale with sewing machines, fabric, vintage finds, holiday decor, and crafting tools galore. Address posted sometime today.

    Sunday, April 26

    • ​April Spelling Bee​ at Boise Brewing is going down at 5pm. This month is all about words that aren’t pronounced the way they’re spelled. Potpourri, Wednesday, lasagna… you get the gist. It’s free!
    • ​The Silence of the Lambs 35th Anniversary​ is happening at The Egyptian Theatre at 6pm. It’s a special anniversary screening of the chilling classic about FBI Agent Clarice Starling and Dr. Hannibal Lecter. Such a good movie! Tix are only $5!

    Next Thursday, April 30

    • ​Faces of Courage Benefit Gala​ is happening at Boise Centre at 5:30pm. The night begins with cocktail hour, followed by dinner, Gabby Petito’s parents as guest speakers, a story shared by a survivor who used services from Faces of Hope, and a paddle raise. All funds from the event go directly to keeping the safety net of crisis services provided by Faces of Hope free and accessible to those who need them. Tix are $150.

    • ​Patio Reds​ class is happening at House of Wine. This class is dedicated to versatile, easy-drinking reds perfect for spring sunshine. They may even break the rules and chill a red or two! Tix are $45.

    NEW Boise Coffee Crawl

    • A ​new coffee crawl​ is starting on May 1! It’s a month-long, self-guided coffee adventure through 10+ local shops. You buy a Crawl Pass which gets you a $5 credit at each participating coffee shop. Join the waitlist ​here​ and get tix as soon as they go on sale.
