Treefort prep

Treefort Music Fest is next month! Holy smokes. This morning the fest announced a map + details for Julia Davis Park (which is the new location for the Main Stage and surrounding events) and a bunch of fort programming.

I am planning to do another "guide to Treefort" story in early March, so if you have any questions lmk and I'll make sure to answer them!

(Full disclosure: I also work at Treefort doing PR and writing)

Tunes & shows

A new local music magazine, B-Side Magazine, is doing some really cool things & great coverage of the local music scene. They have a kickstarter going to raise funds to get operations up and going and further expand the website. Consider donating if you can!

Some fun shows coming up! Radio Boise is having a benefit show on Friday night with Grateful, a local Grateful Dead tribute band. Also on Saturday, local funk band Lounge On Fire has a release show at VAC (21+). And next week on Thursday, one of my fave bands Rubblebucket has an all ages show at El Korah. Fun!

For more live music, check out B-Side's live music calendar.
