The Boise Golden Retriever Meet Up is happening at Ann Morrison Park on Sunday, February 26 at 10am! Meet at the clock tower!

Wanna jam?

Looking for a place to play some tunes? Here's a few local jam sessions to join:

​Maestre Arts has a jam on the 3rd Friday of the month. Open to singers, rappers, instrument players & people who just wanna watch. $15 or you can buy an event pass to join them all. All ages!

​Pengilly's Saloon has a Traditional Old-Time Tunes & Song Session on Monday nights from 6:30-8:30pm. I think it's free? 21+

​Ironwood Bar & Grill hosts The Boise Blues Society Jam on the last Sunday of the month from 2-6pm. Free w/ $5 suggested donation. All ages!

​Sturman's Wine & Cigars has open mic jams on Monday nights. 21+

​O'Michael's Pub has open mic jams on Wednesday nights. 21+

​Boise Hive has a weekly and 2x monthly jam sesh for veterans.

​Mad Swede has open mic jams on Sundays. All ages!

​Boise Music Lessons has a Campfire Club for players that are a lil more advanced but still need some practice.

  • Fri Feb 24: The Ridikkulus Comedy Show, a Harry Potter comedy event, is happening at Lounge at the End of the Universe. Tix are $15, starts at 8pm.
  • Fri-Sat Feb 24-25: Go see comedian and podcaster Aaron Woodall at Mad Swede Brew Hall (downtown). Friday show starts at 7pm, Sat show starts at 9pm. Tix are $25 Online/$30 at the door.
  • Sat Feb 25: Comic of the Month is happening at Mad Swede (downtown) at 7pm. Tix are $20.
  • Sun Feb 26: Check out On the Road Again: A Comedy Show at Volume 1 Bar & Lounge in Meridian. Tix are $20, starts at 8pm.
  • Tue Feb 28: Story Story Night's TOUCH is happening at JUMP at 6pm. Hear true stories on a perceptive theme, told live on stage and without notes. Tix are $12. All ages.
  • Tue Feb 28: Tue Min Tuesday open mic is happening at Mad Swede (Cole Road). 20 comics perform no more than two minutes of brand-new standup material for a chance to win $200. It's free!
  • Weekly comedy open mics: Mondays at Mad Swede (Cole Road), sign ups 7:30pm/start 8pm. Thursdays at Mad Swede (Downtown), online sign ups, starts at 8pm. Saturday at Mad Swede (Downtown), sign ups 10:30pm, start 11pm.
