St Patty's Celebrations

Some places to celebrate St. Patty's Day this evening:

Tonight: Payette Brewing is celebrating with green beer and more. Party starts at noon!

Tonight: Mother Earth Tap House has happy hour 12-4pm, drink specials after 4pm, live music & food trucks. 21+, dogs welcome!

Tonight: Powderhaus Brewing is doing Irish Pub Week and has the Anam Cara Academy Dancers + live music at the brewery tonight!

Tonight: Butte in Boise is at Boise Centre. It's an Irish food & drink extravaganza from 5-10pm. Live music, food, drinks. 21+ and tix are $55 per person.

Tonight: Sturman's Wine & Cigars has live music, green beer & wine, and Irish food for this night. 6-10pm, 21+.

Tonight: Bear Island Brewing Co. has Boise Fire's Pipes & Drums at 5:30pm, Irish food specials & a St. Patty's beer. 21+ inside, kids & dogs allowed on patio.

Tonight: Western Collective has a "Paddy'o Party" tonight from 2-10pm.

Friday: Powderhaus Brewing has dancers from Irish Dance Idaho performing with live music from High Pine Whiskey Yell.

Saturday: Harley Davidson is having a St. Patty's day party. Ride over for a free green beer & snacks. Starts at noon.

Saturday: R Bar & Payette Brewing is back with Gelande Quaffing! Should be a heck of a time. Sign up at R Bar before Saturday!

Saturday: Mad Swede Brewing is having a Pat-urday Madness party on Saturday, March 19. Green beer, hot dogs, live music and more. It's free!

Saturday: 5th Annual St. Patty's Day Crawl is a pub crawl happening downtown on Saturday, March 19. Starts at 4pm and 21+ obvi. Tix are $20-$25.

Saturday: The Sapphire Room is hosting Guess When, a Celtic folk rock band. Food & drinks available, tix are $20-$25. 21+

New Land Art Exhibit

Starting March 19 through April 30, you can see the new Land Art Exhibit at Idaho Botanical Garden 🌿

The Land Art exhibit is meant to show how people and nature can co-exist when we pay attention to what we are leaving behind and the impact it will have for future generations. 9 local artists used natural and found biodegradable materials to create art within the beautiful botanical gardens.

See it Monday through Sunday, 9am-5pm, March 19-April 30. Tix are general garden admission, free - $9.

  • March 19: A Brunch of Laughs is happening at Watson's Mystery Cafe. Tix are $10 and does not include brunch.

  • March 17: Go sling some pinballs at Thursday Strikes at Idaho Pinball Museum aka Ugly Gold Couch.
  • March 17: Comedians Bengt Washburn + Megan McCaleb are at The Lounge at the End of the Universe.
  • March 18: Go into the weekend feeling zen at Breathe into Balance with Corrine at True North Yoga.
  • March 18: See a comedy show that's out of this world! Comedians in Space! is happening at Watson's Mystery Cafe. Tix are $12 and starts at 7pm.
  • March 19: It's WaterShed Weekend and this month is all about farm Animals, farms, spring, snacks, arts and crafts. It's free!
  • March 19: Join Collectively Personal, a mixed-media collage workshop exploring personal mythology and how it relates to the larger Treasure Valley community. It's held at Surel's Place and starts at 1pm. Sounds fun!
  • March 19: Girl Power! Head down to Payette Brewing for a GRL PWR one-hour self defense class, vendors & experiences! Tix are $20.
  • March 21: Go play pinball at Woodland Empire!
  • March 21: It's the 150th Anniversary of the the Old Idaho Pen! Learn more about the early day of the prison. Admission is $6.

What do y'all think about In-N-Out coming to the valley? I've never eaten there, so my only opinion on this matter is that every time I have driven by one, the line is always so damn long. No one is actually "in and out"... It's more like "Wait-N-Wait" lol just sayin
