A bit of Boise news

Just in case you missed any of these stories...

  • ACHD came out with a new bike lane policy "that will separate bike lanes from car lanes on arterial roads when those roads get updates. It would put bike lanes on the same level as a sidewalk and protected by a curb."
  • Goathead Festival announced its 2021 date! Saturday, August 28 at Cecil D Andrus Park (in front of the Capitol).
  • There's a new dog park open in Eagle.
  • Aaaand I'm sure you saw The TODAY Show story on Boise & the rapid growth. I want to stop talking about growth and housing and all that... but I can't, ya know?

Tunes & shows

QUESTIONS: Is this calendar helpful to you? Would it be more helpful if it also lived in an actual calendar, like a google cal that you could share and reference? Would it be more helpful if I included more links to songs and videos? Let me know -> marissa@fromboise.com

Food finds

  • Western Proper is now open! This is Western Collective's newest venture. It's a restaurant, bar and game lounge in downtown Boise.
  • I scream, you scream: The STIL opened its Boise Bench location yesterday. Yay!
  • Guru Donuts is doing "sampler packs" this weekend. A whole pack of mini donuts - cute!
  • Also if you are looking to grab a beer, check out this comprehensive post/thread about Boise breweries. Well done local redditors!
