Good things come in threes

Three things to RSVP for

Classic movies are back at The Egyptian! Three Amigos is playing Friday, August 20 at 7pm and Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure is on Saturday, August 21 at 7pm.

FOCUS, an opera that rocks is coming to The Egyptian next weekend, August 27-29. This rock-n-roll touring show tells the story of a late 60s band in a multi-tiered theatre experience. A bunch of locals are participating in this performance as well!

Boise Goathead Fest is next weekend! Next week's story is all about Boise Goathead Fest (& yes I intend on convincing you to go), but you can pre-register for the bike parade right now! Also, they desperately need volunteers so if you are available next weekend/planning to go, please consider volunteering for a bit. The shifts aren't that long & it sounds really fun! Go meet people! Do stuff! Bikes! Yeah!

Three things to go out of town for

Mountain Brew Fest in McCall is happening Saturday, August 21 from 1-6pm. Specialty beers from 20 PNW breweries, food, live music & good views! Tickers are $45 in advance or $50 at the door & includes unlimited tasting & a glass.

Sawtooth Salmon Festival is happening on August 28 in Stanley. In addition to music, food & beer, you can learn about Idaho's iconic & endangered salmon populations and conservation efforts. It's free & fam-friendly.

And last but not least, just go somewhere & be outside. Because fall in the mountains around here is the best!

Tunes & shows

Wow, so many shows to see! For those interested in local music industry, on Sept 2 there's a cool free event called Sound Advice: Learn from Music Industry Professionals and Connect with Boise's Music Community.
