First of the month = First Thursday fun. Tons of events going on and also this weather is lovely. Perfect temp to be outside & beebop around downtown.

The fun fall festivals continue

Dogtoberfest at Indian Creek Plaza is this Saturday, Oct 9 from 1-5pm. Drink some German beers, eat some schnitzel, and let your dog enjoy the one time they are allowed on splash pads on the plaza. It's free to attend.

Fall Harvest at the Garden is happening every Saturday in October out at the Idaho Botanical Garden. Adults $9, Seniors $7, Kids $5, and little ones under age 3 are free. Here's the lineup this weekend:

  • Live music by Héctor from 12-2pm
  • Scarecrow Stroll
  • Pumpkins
  • Food trucks: Tony’s Tamales, Rusty Dog, Nut Hut, Slow River Coffee
  • Drinks: Meriwether Cider, Lost Grove Brewing
  • Artisan vendors: Soul Creations, Nature Artwork

Eagle Harvest Festival is this Saturday, October 9 from 9am-2pm at Heritage Park in downtown Eagle, where the Farmers Market is. Live music, games, pumpkin carving, cornhole, food, and more. It's free and very fam-friendly.

Huston Vineyards Harvest Party is Saturday, October 9 from 12-5pm. Live music, food trucks, and live grape stomping. Bring your own blanket or chair. $15 to attend & includes a pour.

Good Life Farms has a u-pick pumpkin patch this weekend, October 9-10 and next weekend October 16-17 from 12-6pm.

  • Oct 8: Time to get spooky. Join Big River Paranormal at the Old Idaho Pen for a conversation on paranormal activity and their experiences hunting for spirits. It's free, but limited to 100 people so sign up now.
  • Oct 9: Try a Halloween-themed Sip N' Craft at Create 208. It's 21+ and byob!
  • Oct 9-10: Treasure Valley Flea Market at Expo Idaho, aka the mother load of flea markets. Admission is only $2.
  • Oct 9-10: Idaho Renaissance Faire on the Kuna Greenbelt
  • Oct 10: Like vintage and all things pinup? You need to go check out A Vintage Affair at the Nampa Train Station.
  • Go for a hike or something! It's so beautiful out here!
