It's a good week to be hungry, my friends. The weeklong Dine Out Downtown Boise event is back in action.
Dine Out begins tomorrow, Friday, October 29 and goes through the following Sunday, November 7. It's the ideal excuse to go out on an eating adventure. There's 27 restaurants participating, so you have a lot of options to sort through. Or you can go wild and eat at all of them. Sounds fun, eh?
Here's how it works: Participating restaurants create special multi-course menus at a fixed price that are available during this week only. There's five categories:
Also, all of the restaurants have their regular menu in addition to a Dine Out menu.
Head over to downtownboise.org/events/dine-out and peruse the menus. Choose your faves or choose a restaurant that you haven't tried yet. Then you're onto the fun part: eating.
I have been drooling over this event for like a month so here's what has my attention:
Check out all the menus here. There's soo many good options this year. Happy eating & exploring!
My bff is opening a new store opening on the Boise Bench! Derlūj is opening in the little shop that was formerly Frog's Fix Coffee Parlor.
Derlūj is opening at 701 S Latah. She's doing a little soft opening partay on Friday, October 29 from 4-7pm if you are in the neighborhood. You'll find sweet vintage clothes, hats, candles, greeting cards, jewelry, and other fun things. It will be a good one for holiday shopping so go check it out!
A lot of good shows happening this weekend and next week. I'm here to recommend so for your listening pleasure, may I suggest hip hop artists Sol + Sam Lachow (listen) tomorrow, the delightfully whimsey & spooky Mega Bog (listen) on Saturday, new local band Floating Witch's Head on Sunday, and indie rock Soccer Mommy (listen) next Tuesday.
