Some of you have asked me about past stories & where to read them again. Here's all of the Tuesday stories we have sent thus far for your browsing pleasure <3

Tunes & shows

Music venue news: Did you know that The Olympic got a lil makeover? New stage, raised the stage a little, the speakers are now in the stage instead of in front of it & a new sound system. It looks & sounds soooo good in there! Go check it out.

Food finds but mostly things to drink

  • PSA: Lemon Tree sammys are being served at The STIL's new location on the Boise Bench.
  • July 22: Bird Bingo at Meriwether Cider downtown. Starts at 7pm. All pints of Cherry Chickadee Cider will support the Intermountain Bird Observatory.
  • July 24: Go check out the first annual State Street Affair Brewfest at State Street Kitchen & Drinkery. No tix needed, just buy drink tokens when you get there.
  • July 23: Payette Brewing is releasing AnyTimers, aka canned cocktails. Available on tap & in four-packs to go.
  • July 23: Craft Brewers of Boise on Orchard Street is doing a free summer wine tasting from 5-7pm.
  • All weekend: Funk Fest is back at Bittercreek Alehouse. Here is a theme song to pair with your sour beers.

Things to do

  • July 23: Rid us of those pesky goatheads!! Boise Bicycle Project is having another goathead picking party on Friday morning. Meet at BBP at 7:45am. There's free coffee from Dawson Taylor, too.
  • July 23: Movie night! Take your littles to watch Onward at Settlers Park in Meridian.
  • July 23: Music Bingo at Crooked Fence Brewing from 6:30-8:30pm. It's free to join!
  • July 23: Murder Mystery Night at Potter Wines! Sounds really fun. They need 10 people minimum so sign up now if you wanna go!
  • July 24: Run Wild at Zoo Boise. Kids age 1-10 years can do a this short fun run through the zoo before it opens for the day.
  • July 24: YMCA Boise Front Trail Run.
  • July 24: Are you a cosplayer? Check out the Summer Cosplay Gathering 2021 from 10am-2pm in Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park. It's free!
  • July 24: Have a spooky Saturday on a Paranormal Investigation at Old Idaho Penitentiary. Starts at 9pm and tickets are $35.
  • July 24-25: True North, the North End's newest yoga studio, is having its grand opening this weekend. Free classes all day on Saturday & Sunday. Go check it out!
  • July 25: Truth in Comedy at Mad Swede Downtown is a storytelling stand-up comedy show where humanity is the muse. Starts at 7pm. Tix are $20 advance, $20 at the door.
  • July 25: Pause, Look & Listen birding at the Shakespeare Festival Grounds. It's a small-group setting that encourages personal observation & reflection. Sounds so peaceful. It's free.

Just trust me...

Ok this isn't in Boise, but did you guys hear about the rare dual-sex butterfly that was born in Pingree, Idaho?! Friggin cooool and a lil lesson on butterflies <3
