    Happenings

Hi, I'm Marissa Lovell, a writer and lover of all things local. So glad you're here.

Raise of hands. Who’s camping this weekend? Here’s some fun things to do if you’re sticking around the “big city”:

    From Boise Things

    New Rooted Together Event Series

Two of Boise’s favorite community institutions are teaming up. Idaho Botanical Garden and Boise Farmers Market have launched Rooted Together, a new event series supporting a long-term vision to create a permanent, year-round home for the Farmers Market inside the Garden.

The kickoff event is Thursday, May 28, 5–8pm, featuring tastings from local food and drink partners, live music, garden tours, and the Boise Mobile Market on-site with farm-fresh goods. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the evening.

Tickets are $25/person and capacity is limited. Proceeds support the Garden’s expansion and the Market’s future permanent home.
