It all started with a Google Doc and a big idea: write about Boise in a way that feels real.
Whether you’ve lived here your whole life or just got your Idaho plates, my goal is simple: help you fall a little more in love with Boise.
After years of freelancing, I realized the stories I cared most about were happening right here in neighborhoods, at community events, inside small businesses, and back in time throughout Boise’s history.
I wanted to write stories that would cause people to slow down, dig a little deeper, and feel proud to live in such a special place (or at least text a friend and say, “Whoa, did you know this?”).
From Boise is about belonging. It’s about understanding where we live, celebrating the people who make it special, and helping Boise feel a little more connected… one story at a time.
